First of all it's not my tutorial, one of my friend who used to play WOW given it to me some time ago, I am not sure if it work or not as I didn't tested it myself, but according to my friend and few other peoples who tried it..it's working fine for them..so give it a short!
Step 1:
At first download wow ! orginal + updates over here:
http://www.down-force.nl/wow/
Step 2:
Ok when you are done to installing wow we will setup a webserver with mysql. You need it for your website and the mysql db from this developer. First download phptraid from here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=93507&use_mirror=mesh&filename=apache2triad1.5.4.exe&86335073
When your download is finished you must install it.
- Do a simpel install, he only ask for a password
- Set the PASSWORD and REMEMBER this PASSWORD !!!
When its done it will reboot your PC. Your apachtraid is installed in C:\apache2triad\. When your pc is reboot lets have a look of you webserver is online.
- Open internet explorer
- http://localhost/
If its ok you see some maps! Close your internet explorer, you are done.
Step 3:
Download and setting up the Mangos: rev.3870 Using DB: SDB rev.194 + all the updates so far! So you don't need to patch something so far.
Download over here http://www.down-force.nl/wow/Mangos194.rar
(extract it with winrar and place it in a EMPTY folder c:/Mangos)
Now you have extracted, go to c:/Mangos and you will see the files you must edit. We gonna edit realmd.conf and mangosd.conf, open this files with wordpad.
*edit in realmd.conf:
old
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;pass;realmd"
new
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;;realmd"
* edit in mangosd.conf:
old
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;pass;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;pass;mangos"
new
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;;realmd"
WorldDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;;mangos"
stand for your password what you have set in STEP 2 when you have installed phptraid
Step 4:
Now we gonna import your db you gonna download!
First of all we gonna download mysqlyog here http://www.down-force.nl/wow/SQLyog519.exe.
When you download is finished Install it. Don't start the program when you done.
Download the Database you need.
realmd http://www.down-force.nl/wow/realmd.rar
mangos http://www.down-force.nl/wow/mangos.rar
Extraced your database file with winrar or something.
Now you see 2 files.
Mangos.sql and realmd.sql, this to files we gonna import!
- start SQLyog (icon on your desktop)
- now you seeing Connect to Host
* MySQL Host Address = Localhost
* User Name = root
* Password = (what you set on STEP 2 with installing PHPTRAID)
* Port = 3306
* Database(s) = (let it blanc)
Ok now Connect !
On your left venster of thr program you see root@localhost
- Click with your right mouse on it
* Create Database
* call it mangos
Now you seeing a new database called mangos
- Click with your right mouse on it
* Import Batch File
* Go to the directory you have extraced the database
* for mangos look for mangos.sql and the executed
Now its extracting your mangos DB ! Do this steps also for realmd!
Step 5:
First get AD.exe you find it in c:/Mangos/ad.exe.
Put this in you wow map c:/programs files/world of warcraft
- Dubbele click it now ! He is going bussy like 10 minutes!
When he is finished there is a map called maps in c:/programs files/world of warcraft Its about 1 gig. copy this to Mangos. So you get c:/mangos/maps
Step 6:
Setting up your Site on a localhost webserver that you have installed in the begin.
I have found 2 sites! Minimanager and Blizzlike. I self have Minimanager because it's faster.
Blizzlike is very cool but slower for me So im going to tell only about Minimanager.
- Download Minimanager http://www.down-force.nl/wow/mini.rar
Extracted in it C:\apache2triad\htdocs\
When you have done that there is 1 file to edit.
- C:\apache2triad\htdocs\scripts
- you will see a fil called config or config.php open it with wordpad
* you will see pass from phptriad change this to your pass from STEP 2 to edit your forum
- edit forum.conf.php
Your site is done! for blizzlike search google
Step 7:
How to get your server on the interner? Over here is a tutorial.

Login in your site.
- http://localhost/
* user and pass = administrator (you can use this also to connect your wow server to play)
* edit the passwords in the site and editting the rest you want.
Step 9:
go to your map Mangos c:/Mangos
- Double click on Mangos.exe and realmd.exe
