Wohi keh raha hoon. $10 ka hi difference hai, yet SoTC fared better, as did Xenoblade at no difference in price. Heck, the Demon's Souls remake fared better than the original with a $10 difference, thanks to some much needed gameplay refinements 🤷‍♂️ :LOL:

So I'm borderline embarrassed to admit that I finally gave in and bought the remake.

Played through the initial 2-3 hours and man this really is an embarrassing attempt of a remake. Yes there are graphical upgrades over the original but there's nothing more to justify even a $60 price tag let alone the $70. Even minor QOL improvements have been ignored here, like when you travel to another part of the map and the earlier part becomes inaccessible even though i can see the door right there in front of me, I cant access it the second i cross over. Its so fucking annoying.

And to top it all, cutting the MP out and selling it more than full price is just abhorrent. Yes, i bought it but my motivation to play it only came because there was nothing else to play. And i fucking plan to flip it the moment i finish it.

Agreed. That said, I wouldn't get my hopes up with PlayStation Studio ports. Their games ported from the console are buggy as hell.

Just look at the comments about the ports Uncharted 4 and Final Fantasy XIII. They had so many glitches such as memory leaks leading to constant crashes even on high end gaming machines with 8GB video ram.
Uncharted 4 was so buggy on PC with constant crashes that I had to buy a PS5 remastered version for a flawless experience.

It seems PS intentionally makes its port buggy to force PC players to make the transition to its console. In contrast, MS XBox games on PC such as Horizon Forza, Halo, Gears, and others are flawless.

Probably a launch thing and got fixed quickly, when I checked out the UC4/TLL it was flawless.

Besides, this seems to be handled internally by ND themselves. Legacy Collection was outsourced.

It wasn't fixed, as per my experience. I had downloaded the latest patch. I did everyhing from increasing page cache to lowering the graphic resolution. But the crashes were so frequent that it led me to quit at chapter 10 of UC4 and start anew on PS5.

Other gamers also complained about frenzy of crashes on even state-of-the-art AMD and Nvidia graphics card with 32GB!! The ports were utterly horrendous.

For the original PS games, there is no better platform than the PS. The company I believe intentionally ignores QC for its PC ports.

I don't know about you. But buying a PS5 has become a necessity for a gamer.

PC games obviously can't compare with PS5, but neither can PS5 games compare to PC in terms of flawless performance.

With such exclusive masterpieces as Uncharted, Horizon, Days Gone, FF series, The Last of US, and many upcoming ones, you can't just ignore PlayStation Studio's games. And these only play best on a console.

Xbox is an optional extra like a side dish. You can play every Xbox games flawlessly on a PC. It doesn't make any sense to me, although I can afford all three.
