Still can't grab weapons from fallen enemies? Didn't even add this from the sequel lmao
Besides being a massive graphical overhaul, Demon's Souls remake made the following changes to gameplay:
- omni-directional rolling instead of 4-way in the original
- 6-player online mutiplayer instead of 4-player in the original
- improved hit reactions and feedback
- re-balancing of items, such as associating grass with the weight stat
- new weapons and armor sets
From what I've seen, besides being a modest graphical upgrade, The Last of Us remake makes the following changes to gameplay:
- bottles/bricks can now be thrown while running, like in the sequel
- enemy and companion AI have seen some improvements (remains to be seen)
- lower input lag maybe?
- no multiplayer
