PTCL Hud Ho gae Ha, i made a wise choice TODAY!`

AOA Guys,
I know many of you must be facing the PTCL issue these days and that is that it randomly disconnects after a few hours for an hour, well the reason for this issue is loadsheeding, PTCL doesn't have good back up any more, there ups can't withstand the load shedding and thus there system shut down which leads to the phone lines being dead. I asked the phone operater this reason a week back, he told me that they are working on generators, but dafuq my dad called the PTCl manager yesterday and he says we will have to live with it! i mean the fk? we pay so 5k R.S for the 6mb net and this is the service they will give US!, my ISB/Rawalpindi friends its time to move to nayatell, i called the guys over there and they will come tomorrow to install the ONT, i already had the VONT which i installed due to crappy cabel services and fully satisfied! Inshallah i will share my experience with there internet too, but hopefully i won't be disappointed.

On a side note i want to know from current nayatell users that how do you check your bandwidth used.

It won't count if you watch the movies from 8pm - 8am & on Sundays

Well my scene is a bi different. I had ptcl , was disconnecting every second, tried hard nothing happened. But on a same line I used LDN, ran flawless for 2 yrs, sometimes problem comes when line becomes dead but still words well on a noisy line as well unlike ptcl dsl.


And the best thing is that i pay Rs 750 for 1 mb unlimited!!!

Call helpline and ask em about the username/details, sometimes that password is different than the one you enter to connect to internet.

Linkdotnet, the starting is awful but in time they fix it up and its awesome with low pings and unlimited bandwidth.

Not to highjack the thread but I have a few a questions. Does Linkdotnet cover all areas of Karachi and what are the broadband packages that they have available and also, are they really unlimited or do they have a fair usage policy like PTCL?
