was extremely funny however i am disappointed... try not to discourage people who spend their valuable time trying to make something for the users of this website.

I was surprised to hear that BC2 was such a terrible port like you said so I looked it up online. For the most part, its like Red Faction and GTA IV. It does favor Quad-Cores a bit. Some lags have been reported during intense action, but its still a BETA and thats exactly whats it for, to report such issues so hopefully that'll be fixed.

Seems like its the ATi curse in action again. One setup is identical to mine and @ 1680x050 is getting 45-60fps is pretty good for a game like BC2. Its worth noting though that on the console (PS3 atleast), the frame rate dips to 22fps @ 720p, 0xAA on a 6mins run (Digital Foundry) so average will get lower on longer and more intense runs.


Regarding the perfect score for a game... I don't think any game SHOULD get 10/10...but Chandoo's and USUFs points were kinda valid too. Depends how you look at it. Each game being judged on its own merit CAN get a perfect score. How well it achieves the goals it set out to? People will always feel things could be a little different (better? - subjective) so in that case no game is perfect (other than HL/Hl2 ofcourse :p lol). But when I see a game getting a perfect rating, I think 'This game is flawless, every element of the game compliments each other and does nothing wrong'. In that sense, 9 or 9.5 is the highest it can go.

actually Chandoo and Ahsan might be arguing completely different stuff
while chandoo is arguing on a relative basis and giving game 10 means that it's better than anything currently out there (at the time of review), ahsan wants the rating to be absolute and independent of other games...

it's pretty much like no one gets 100% in A Level math, but the highest score is scaled to 100% and all other scores are relative to it ....so can we have both ratings ?? that would be great really!

plz keep it short both discussion and podcast...A 45 to 50 mins podcast is enough, A one hour and 16 mins is more then hell...
