I heard the scaling for ps1 games on the vita screen is pretty terrible though :3

Maybe for 3D, but 2D games look great.

I have already spent 160 Hours on revelation for 3ds....I cannot leave RE...it is not same as before, in some cases worse(RE6) but i still play it.... I have put hundreds of hours in RE series and play it yearly...finding every info and playing every way...I love this series...

Evil within has become my no.1 survival horror game and Remake has become no.2.... that is how much i am excited about it....day 1 for me... I loving concepts, reminds me of old RE 3.5 hallucination version....

I love my Vita. Unfortunately, majority of the people here hate it. Because they think it has "no games" and because it has never been hacked so far.

Who cares what people think bro.

I grew up on Nintendo Game & Watch and people who diss the Vita fail to understand the intimacy one has with a hand held.

My favourite Vita game at the moment is TxK. I play in bed at night, lights off, when my family are asleep and hook up the sound on Bose AE2 headphones. The techno/acid soundtrack is phenomenal yet the experience mesmerising; beats PS3 gaming hands down 9/10 times hands down.

Of course the technical integration with PS4 is another thing, but mark my words brother, the Vita will be the bedrock of 2D retro comebacks!

I am sorry to disappoint you, but i honestly don't see how the series will ever regain its popularity. RE 6 completely shattered it.

The only reason 3DS got Resident Evil was because it was in development since the PSP. Remember the PSP Resident Evil, it was Revelations and it was later ported to 3DS. I don't think we are ever going to get another new Resident Evil on 3DS/Vita.

Now another brand new Resident Evil will come for sure, but the series has already lost most of its popularity, so i doubt if it will sell enough.

I ended re6 only once than never played it again... and i doubt it will reached the same status as it was....but revelations is different, it is bettter than 5 and 6....it was made in remakes shadow like when you play it you will see similar files... suicide note...george trevor gets mentioned...botany book returns...and the last boss fight seems like a tyrant boss fight...revelations last ship stage showed there might be some hope left...

Its too bad they shifted development to 3DS instead of vita...RE on vita would have been super...but 3ds upper screen has no HUD in most games which makes game look amazing not in graphical point of view....

Ontopic, The only RE game(Besides RE 4, but that was easy as heck xD) was Code Veronica X. But i don't think i'd bother with it again xD. There "Difficult gameplay" and then there's tediousness xD

I have found some of the cross platform games are easier to play on the Vita.

How good was frontal assault ?? I loved those Ratchet games on the PS2, didnt play any Racthet game on the PS3 though... Was planning to buy Frontal assault but man it got some crappy reviews.....

its basically a remote play device for the ps4 now... i haven't seen a game release on it which is good in months now...
