Pg xtremist rank should be changed to something more moderate .

That word means w/e you want it to mean. Gay is one word that stands for a person's sexuality but, me being on the internet, I didn't hear the other meaning behind the word that often, which was. "light-hearted and carefree."
Although Gay isn't used in that sense much nowadays it goes to show how a words meaning and offensiveness can change with time and how we perceive it.
You could make most words sound offensive or every word could have a double meaning based on your intentions.


If say 10 out of a 100 people have an issue with the name and the other 90 don't have an issue with the name being chance... I don't see why not just change it or as a community we should at the very least consider alternatives.
Who knows... we might find a better name for the rank with an even better ring to it ^_^


Personally I actually like the PG xtremist rank, It has a nice ring to it ngl.

First of all, apologies for the delay. Had to go to an event out of city, for the weekend.

Right. As far as the 'PG Xtreme' and 'PG Xtremist' debate goes, the user rank is PG Xtreme, as it has been for almost a decade now. These are all the user 'ranks', per se.

What you have shared is the 'User Title', which every member has the power to SET for themselves.

Settings -> Edit Profile -> Set Custom User Title.

Anyway. What you've shared is perhaps the very old preset custom user titles, created since before I was even a user here. I'll look into those, if that is what this thread was all about. However, my understanding, and that of everyone else who argued against it, has been about the usergroup, i.e. PG Xtreme. Again, if you guys suggest that the name of the group be changed, please suggest a name, something you guys feel would adequately describe the purpose of the usergroup.

Sir, you too have a lot to learn, in that case, perhaps because you don't know me, as such. Well, I am a USER first, and then an administrator, as is NaNoW.

For the longest part of my time here, I have been a regular grey member (even was banned for a while, once, for trolling), so trust me, I am just any other ordinary guy. I don't own the website, I have not made a single rupee off of it and I certainly am no 'what I decide is what will happen' sort of a dictator-esque guy.

Ever since I've been a moderator, I've had such things said about me. Why can't moderators be wrong?

You're sounding like I silence people even if I'm in the wrong. Please point out ONE time I did this and I will step down right now.

I have tried being extremely considerate in every decision I take. Everything that goes on behind the doors, within Team PG, is done in a democratic manner, with a proper vote. Every issue at a personal level (which by the way is neither my duty nor my problem, yet I, and a lot of others, do to help facilitate people) is resolved by hearing out both sides of the story, even being abused in the process, and actively taking out time on calls/whatsapp etc. But indeed, they say that the public only ever see's and wants to see the negative.

I am not here to portray myself as some angel. But please, before judging a person superficially, get to know them, and the way they make decisions. This holds for everyone within the team, presently.

We have been clearly talking about what appears under the ID of users, you call it rank or title. The screenshot you posted is actually about "colour scheme" of different user categories. If a common user donates to this forum, his colour will be turned green as "pg supporter", I suppose. The colour scheme however appear to be disturbed nowadays like several other glitches exist.

I do not have PC and tapatalk doesn't provide the option to change that user title.

The OP had initiated a suggestion in a positive mood. He actually initiated a debate in a dead situation. He took care, shown concern and tried to contribute and help improve things. The way you are responding as an admn and lambasting him is indeed condemnable. You should rather appreciate his participation.

My title or rank when I posted few days back in this thread was "PG Xtremist". Now, probably as a result of some experiments by the Admn, it has changed into "PG Xtreme". I attempted repeatedly to change it again as per guide provided above but change does not take effect.
