pardon me but only players from the fighting games genre might be dying for tekken 6, not everyone! secondly tekken 6 is not the most anticipated game of 2009 for the majority.

Tekken .. SF ... bleh ... if I wana play these games id go to the dabbuu n all ... its an extinct n boring genre! Button mash, combo spam ... win ... bleh!

Fighting game genre has a very selective crowd... not everyone is cut out for it. Arcade is where its really at. Its much more in-depth and challenging against proper players. Most 2D-3D fighters are mistaken for that (Tekken, VF, DOA, SF, KOF, Guilty Gear X etc). Its definitely not for you, the way you make it sound. And players are button mashers here, not the game. Enough noobs spraying even in COD4..does not make the game bad

Anyways, considering we pissed both PC and Console fans this time round, I think we did a good job. lol.

hey guys i think its better you guys talk about one genre of games at each time or divide the games into it .

I mean starting from FPS : you talk games like COD and others

then go to RPG : talk about rpgs

then to sports

and finally to Rts or adventure game .

Sub cheez mix plate lagthe hai

LMAO.. i hear tht alot.. these are manly games... we play face to face and head to head.. no hiding or sniping.. The match is decided in 5 mins.. Fighting games require fast hand and fast execution, not to mention fast minds.. not like idiotic RPGs and FPS games..

Try a couple of hours of Quake online. We will see how fast execution you "manly gamers" have.

Fast execution ... lol! The way a person micromanages a WHOLE ARMY in a RTS game, or the skills of someone in Quake is far far faaaaaaaaaaaar more fast executed than anything you will ever see in a 1vs1 button mash fest where the only 'strategy' and 'mind power' used is in execution of the same old combos.

5 mins ? Really ? A round of CoD4 SnD doesnt even last a couple of minutes. Hell ... small maps dont last a single minute even!!! You see ... since FPS gamers have attention spans larger than yours, and use there minds ... they execute plans and strategys ... upon execution, the battle doesnt last more than a minute ... 30 seconds mostly.

Similarly in an RTS, you build a base, build units ... attack on more than one front, defend on other fronts ... keep on a look out for air units as well as land units, not to mention stealth attack, keep up the building and tech advancing, micromanage units ... all while maintaining a steady flow of units .. ALL at the same time! Im pretty damn sure it takes more "mind power" to manage 10+ tasks at the same time rather than a '1vs1' button mash fest. You guys have fast mind ? More like dull mind!

I say its pretty 'unmanly' that you cannot face more than one opponent. Two opponents and ooooh my oooh my im a get me ass kicked! Taking on a whole team by yourself is something that really takes a whole lot of skill! And that happens in FPS games as well as RTS!

The only reason there is a short crowd is because the vast majority eventually gets the guts and the skill to face more than one opponent in a situation where a SINGLE click instead of a whole minute of button mashing is the difference between winning and loosing!

And art thats based on a set of predefined button clicks ? I would find spontaneous strategies all the time wiht no predefined moves an art. A RTS rush is an art, an FPS defence strategy is an art. A predefined set of button clicks ... not an art !
