PG Meetup Karachi - Iftar

It's been a long time that PG members have not been a part of a gathering. Let's make an Iftar day out in Karachi. I was thinking of meeting up at the any one of the following places.

Venue : 26 - Sept - 2008 - Karachi

So come up with your suggestions. I'll put up the top 5 suggestions for a poll.

So who is up for it?


P.S. The whiners [irrelevant stories, i.e have to go somewhere , cant come due to some reason , etc ] - you're not invited - so please don't crap the thread.

Copper Kettle ( Gulshan - e- Iqbal )

Iftar : Rs. 516 + Tax (After the 10th of Ramadan)


Gunsmoke ( Zamzama )

IFTAR BUFFET: Rs. 599 + Tax (Iftar until 1 Hour After)
RAMADAN SPECIAL: Order any Cowboy Beef, Chicken Steak or Pasta Dinner and get as many additional helpings as you can eat!

Nando's ( Sindhi Muslim )

1. Chicken Quarter, Fries, Coleslaw & Coke: 300 + Tax
2. Steak, Fries & Coke: 350 + Tax
3. Half Chicken, Fries & Coke: 400 + tax

Pizza Hut ( Gulshan )

IFTAR BUFFET: 388 + Tax (Iftar - 10pm)


LAL QILA

IFTAR BUFFET: Rs. 690 Including Tax
DINNER ONLY BUFFET: Rs. 550 Including Tax (Beginning at 9:30)



SHAN - E - MuGLIA ( Drive-in Cinema - Next to Millenium Mall - Jauhar )
Approx 650 + TAX


MY personal suggestion is LAL QILA Dinner which is suitable . lets vote.

Anything other then Nando's and Pizza Hut, IMO LaL Qilla would be good as it has more food varieties and the location is quite convenient for everyone. If someone else have a better suggestion post here..

Avoid stupid replies like "I can't come, you guys can carry one", "I would love to join you guys but unfortunately my parents don't give me permission etc blah blah XYZZZZZ" shit.

If you are not interested then don't waste your and our time in posting here.

Lal Qila dinner would do just fine cuz NO one is able to eat much at iftar....Plus the dinner price is cheaper than iftar one.

I've heard lots and lots of good stuff about Shan-e-Muglia. I went to Lal Qila last month and felt that their quality has gone down a bit. Pizza Hut lacks the variety one needs after the roza
My vote to Shan-e-Muglia. I got no idea about the other places.

BTW, what happened to the Dark Knight eid meet up?

well somebody has to take initiative for that - recently cod4 players from lahore meet up couple of weeks ago - me and mos2k were there too.

I m Totally Inn My Picks Shan E Mughlia and then Pizza Hut Gulshan.

Well Frankly Speakin my concern is with the meetup doesnt matter where it is. So make it fast and let me know.

out of the options Lal Qila is better in terms of Variety..
Dont knw if any of you tried Red Onion!!
good environment with good food
and their pizza is far more better and larger than Pizza hut
