Percentage needed to get admission in a University?

My F.Sc(comp science) exams are underway my previous year's result was 60% this year the situation is even worse, i might get 45-50% this year which makes an average 55%.

I am really worried about not getting admission in a University because of my low grades, i am planning to do BS software engineering or Comp Science.

I am not looking to get admission in a University with high merit, i just want to get into a University which is for "Average" or below average students like me,

Can anyone please tell me if i will be able to get admission in BSSE,BSCS or BSIT or anything computer related? or am i going to repeat F.sc to get better marks?

IT feild coz of passion or you are desperate coz of grades? well if you are joining due to grade you can select another feild to study , CS/SE/IT is not easy for those who dont have passion and curiosity for this

and for university there are countless universities now , I mean they want money , well if you cant go to top uni but look around locally you can have many others , they just want money , not grades and just start studying there ,

well I noticed one thing FSC is harder than university , I mean univesity is easy to manage , so if you will love what u are learnign u will get good marks and then u can have better univeristy afterwards

Which city? With that kinda % any university with NTS test is out of the question, since they basically rank according to your % afaik. Better go for private like FAST.

Peshawar city, and yes i know NTS based universities are out of the window but FAST seems too expensive (7.5k per 1 credit hour), i checked other universities they are in the range of 3-4k per credit hour.but is there going to be any additional fees than the mentioned ones? a friend told me that private universities need like 3 lac per year but the the website says 60k per semester

anyone have experience with this? what can be the yearly or per semester cost?

The universities' i checked says that candidate must have 50% marks in F.sc, i migth get 50% in F.sc inshallah but people tell me you must get 60+% to get admission in anything

I am interested in Computer science related stuff, i liked studying it in Fsc , my only worry is if i will get admission into university or not :/

how much money are we talking about? like 60-70k per semester or year? i can only afford that much, are there going to be any universities in that range?

Dude you will find information regarding the fee structure on respective universities websites. Different private UNIs have different fee structure. Since you are in Peshawar dunno about the state of Unis there. I'd advise whichever you decide to choose, do check if that University is HEC recognized or not from the HEC website prolly. There have been some issues going on or so I've heard regarding university authorization.

Check out the prospectus via particular university website when admission announced ... & Also do visit university in which you want to take admission & discuss this matter from students of computer science department ... this will help you insha'Allah .. jitna TM ja k discussion Kroge utna hi acha hoga ..
