PC Hanging Problem

My PC started to hang a lot and sometimes it didn't boot and gave boot error after unplugging and plugging of HDD SATA power and communication cable it worked fine. I suspected HDD problem and changed its power and communication cable after that it worked fine for few days but the problem again started but during this hanging period the CPU and memory usage in task manager was normal. I install HDD Pro and it gave the following report.

Do start -> run -> type "cmd.exe" and press enter. Then in the command prompt do a chkdsk c:\ /r. You may have to reboot your computer. Then

Open the event viewer to the time of restart.
Chkdsk offers to run the repair process by using Autochk when the computer
is restarted.
Autochk information is logged by the Winlogon service, so look for entries
with Winlogon listed as the source of the entry

start/run, type:
eventvwr.msc

In the event viewer output see what it says for bad sectors. If it says something other than 0KB bad sectors your hard drive is permanently damaged and needs replacing i.e. you have to buy a new one. You can't repair bad sectors.

BTW if you have more than one partition you will have to repeat the above steps for each partition. Just replace c:\ with the correct drive letter. So for example drive f:\ :

chkdsk f:\ /r
