The stiff pain in my back has reached a new height of irritation, and I almost think that if I moved too quickly I'd twist a vertebrate. My hands and neck are cramped, my mouth is dry and my eyes water as they are glued to my monitor; they flick for a moment to the clock which defiantly displays 5:53am. A voice in the back of my head is yelling something about needing food and sleep. I've ignored it for so long. But perhaps now I should listen. And then.

CRUNCH! 'Well done, you have reached Level 22'. Woooo yea! What new spells are in stall for me now baby? What new talents can I learn? What new armour will I find? Welcome to the World of Warcraft ladies and gents;
You're lying!

Its Pakistan. Loadshedding ... you can never get addicted to WoW here ...!

Moreover ^^ just check this article about WoW and college drop outs.

FCC (Federal Communications Commission) Commissioner claims WoW causes college drop-outs

There's no doubt that MMOs have changed the face of online gaming as we know it today. The immense success of World of Warcraft demonstrates this and the game has often been the target of studies surrounding people and online gaming. Interestingly, claims about the dangers of online gaming addiction are spreading even further, with an FCC Commissioner making the bold claim that MMOs, and WoW i
n particular, have increased the college drop-out rate in the U.S.

This could lead to interesting battles between educators, gamers and gaming companies. Should the FCC even be making any assertions regarding people's computer use? I would very much like to see a Blizzard response to these statements.

WOW addiction? doesnt have to be

well.... apart from the on going debate... i would like to say, anyone who plays more than 2 straight games on WOW online and or DOTA is missing out on all the other great games that come out.

Like my room mates play DOTA 20/7 the rest 4/7 they play it online!!! and I got Mirror's Edge today and I suggested to them to play ME and they jumped at me yelling... ME has nothing on DOTA!, i mean WTF!!!

I am not saying nobody should play DOTA! but if you play too much, u missing out on lotsa other great stuff. I play DOTA, i even have a couple of character on WOW online, but since 2 years ago i just occasionaly play those accounts like 2 hours every week... and other time i try to play other games

Its like a drug but I've lost my interest in wow after like 3 years of playing it but in those 3 years i know it was an addiction i would like play the game for hours & hours.Now i would say just wasting those precious where i could have done something else other than WoW.I don't really regret it but still anyways.

So for my side i would say its a DRUG.
