Reviews for the DS4's back button extensions are coming out and they are surprisingly good. Might actually pick one of these up myself.

PS4's Back Button Attachment Is Impressive, Comfortable, and May Tease the PS5 - IGN

Whether the Back Button Attachment is a sign of a PS5 future to come, or just a neat, additional offering from Sony, I’m very glad to have it. Its arrival may be as odd as first trying to plug in the attachment, but after a few days playing with it, it already feels like an integral part of my PlayStation playtime. And if it’s here to stay, I’d welcome a world where it’s built into the controller.

Yes, the $29.99 PS4 controller upgrade is worth it

This attachment won’t sink all of the companies selling high-end pro controllers — those products still offer way more flexibility and customization options than simply adding two rear paddles. But for folks looking to dive into the world of back-panel buttons without having to spend more than $100 on an entirely new controller, the DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment does its job admirably well, and at a fraction of the cost.

DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment review — Comfortable and capable

The DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is an easy way to add more functionality to your PlayStation controller. The idea is to free up your other fingers by programming common actions to fingers that are normally doing nothing. This is useful for shooters where you may want to keep your thumbs on the analog sticks at all times. Now, you can jump or melee without having to move to the face buttons.

This add-on makes all of that possible, and it does so in a way that I find both comfortable and simple. And that’s huge. This isn’t going to make your DualShock 4 feel anywhere near as good as an Xbox Elite Series 2, but it is going to give you similar capabilities.

If you use a PlayStation 4 controller, this $30 attachment is a no-brainer

If you're looking at this thing and struggling to think of any games where back button commands might be helpful, then sure, this probably isn't a product for you. But Sony's first attempt to offer fans a cost-effective option for adding back buttons to the DualShock 4 is a big success, and a no-brainer purchase if you've ever shopped for that feature and balked at the third-party prices.

Anyone who wasn't stubborn enough to stick to the hampered default controllers has been enjoying this utility on every platform for almost a decade now lol

It's probably too far to change design layouts now, but I'm still 100% adamant the DS5 will have these buttons on by default.

Future compatibility theory falls flat unless they plan to add additional button mapping to this accessory. Currently its only replacing the available buttons.

Also, this thing reduces the DS4 battery life by roughly an hour.

That's like.... ~ 1.5 hours of battery life then ?

Its pretty bad even if it varies from user to user.

Battery is a major consideration with this attachment. The DualShock 4 already has notoriously low battery life, especially compared to other consoles’ controllers, and this new attachment doesn’t help, obviously. It is definitely more of a drain, maybe an hour or so less on average, but I’ve learned to always have a spare DualShock 4 charged lying around after six years, so it hasn’t been much of a hurdle to overcome.
This is another area DS5 needs to improve alot.

[h=1]PlayStation Plus offers BioShock Collection, The Sims 4 in February[/h]

PlayStation Plus subscribers will get access to three games (or five, depending on your count) in February:BioShock: The Collection, The Sims 4, and Firewall Zero Hour. Those PlayStation 4 games will be available as part of PlayStation Plus starting Tuesday, Feb. 4.
BioShock: The Collection includes the single-player content from the original BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, and all single-player add-on content from those games. The collection also includes the Columbia’s Finest pack and director’s commentary, featuring Ken Levine and Shawn Robertson.
The Sims 4 is, of course, the latest in Electronic Arts’ life simulation series, which offers a wide variety of expansion packs and add-ons.
Finally, Firewall Zero Hour is a 4v4 multiplayer tactical shooter developed exclusively for PlayStation VR. The game’s new season starts on Feb. 4, the same day it goes live on PlayStation Plus.
All three games will be available to download via PS Plus through March 2.
January’s PlayStation Plus games — Naughty Dog and Bluepoint Games’ Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Double Eleven’s Goat Simulator — are available to download through Feb. 3.

I thought the Bioshock Collection contains Bioshock Infinite as well, as it says above, but it doesn't.
It does:

BioShock: The Collection contains all single-player content from BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite, all single-player add-on content, the “Columbia’s Finest” pack, and Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock, featuring Ken Levine and Shawn Robertson.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
