IF this is as good as im hping,it will be the biggest game in existence! At the demo,the dev said you can go to every star you see during the night,you can go to every planet,basically if you can see it,you can land on it They have so many options here. They can make every world different,with different weapons,enemies,so much to choose from. Demo looked sick!

Back when Spore was releasing they said the same thing regarding that each planet was the planet of each player and had different life and what not, see how that turned out.

No Man's Sky and Joe Danger studio Hello Games experienced a flood on Christmas Eve which they say has destroyed almost everything in their offices. The team said on Twitter that a river broke its bank and as a result flooded the offices with water.


According to tweets, the studio lost pretty much "everything" including PCs, monitors, furniture, and personal items like a Neo Geo Pocket and other game consoles.

They don't seem to be too worried however, as a tweet noted that all they need is a "place to work and a machine to work on" with a smiley emote. There's no word if projects like No Man's Sky will be significantly impacted as a result of the flood.

limited exploration..dev said..if you stand and look around and try to explore, there is a good chance you will die...you have to move..its more about resource management..and shooting things I guess..think of it as a pretty minecraft

It's about discovery and exploration. In many ways, this is a Space Sim. You find parts, upgrade your ship, establish contact and trade alliances with other life forms. Ultimately, the goal is to reach the center of the universe. All players will be a part of the same persistent universe.
