You probably wouldn't run out of ammo if not even gas masks if you Know where to look...I scavenged everywhere like a rat xD but yes going guns blazing can be tempting, however if you are aiming for the true (good) ending, or ranger hardcore you'll realize keeping murders to a minimum is the only strategy

Nah I wouldn't copy comments....I played metro two times.. since last couple of months I've been mostly offline.. even when gaming on steam, Facebook... nobody to talk to so what's the point even coming online.. I've recently only active in forums and Reddit sometimes but mostly as a lurker

I never ran out of gas mask filters and ammo but a couple of times i was caught in a situation where it felt like the ammo i had was not enough. You will never run out of gas mask filters in this game because the game lets you craft those on the go but for ammo you have to be on a workbench in order to craft them.

P.S. try killing all the blind ones in the dead city, don't sneak past them :tv:

Those are not that hard to kill but annoying specially if they attack in numbers in locations where the flashlight doesn't work

Expansion is available now. Seems to be focused on Metro 2033 more underground linear structure.

Ray-traced GI applied to area lights, point lights and emissive lights. The best lighting got even better.

Metro Exodus’ Epic Games Store exclusivity period is about to end — the game will debut on Steam on Saturday, Feb. 15.
4A Games’ first-person shooter was originally set to be available through Steam, but less than three weeks before the game’s release, publisher Deep Silver announced that it would be selling Metro Exodus exclusively in the Epic Games Store — for a whole year. The Windows PC version debuted on Epic’s storefront on Feb. 15, 2019, and it will go live on Steam exactly one year later at midnight EST, according to the franchise’s official Twitter account. (Metro Exodus also launched on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One alongside PC, and arrived on Google Stadia in November.)
“Those of you that have been waiting, thank you for your passion and patience,” the tweet added. As for other PC digital storefronts, the Twitter account responded to a question about GOG.com with a message saying, “We have no current plans to launch Metro Exodus on GOG in the immediate future.”


Though Metro Exodus itself is not yet up for pre-order on Steam, its $24.99 Expansion Pass and its first expansion, 2019’s The Two Colonels, are both available to buy now.
Metro Exodus was one of the first major, highly anticipated games to become an Epic Games Store exclusive, along with Ubisoft’s The Division 2. Epic has also signed timed exclusivity deals for plenty of other titles big and small, such as Remedy Entertainment’s Control and Supergiant Games’ Hades. As those agreements expire, expect to see the games in question pop up on places like Steam and GOG.

What an utterly boring an unnecessary expansion. Gunplay still feels sluggish, animations randomly stutter, and collision issues are far worse than the base game.

Only relatively good bits in the entire 4 hour DLC included a recycled section with spiders (with one new variant) and this boss fight:

EDIT: Also, RTGI is utterly useless. A 60fps performance mode would be nice for those who play this for the first time. Would certainly help with the awkward shooting.

Replaying on PC with RTGI (and 60fps) and HOT DAMN it looks absolutely glorious. This game was next-gen ~2 years ago.

Cannot wait for the new Metro game and their new IP.
