Been waiting for a good FPS game, so it is.

By looking at the recommended specs, it must be challenging for the PC hardware.
Ranking somewhere near Recommended Specs. I hope my 580 would run it well on custom settings.

These specs looks like crysis back in 2007 yet graphically it doesn't look like a big of a leap crysis was in 2007. I mean come on? Gtx 1060 sits between the minimum and recommend requirements? I have this pre ordered on Steam. Necrokiller apparently hates pre ordering games with Denuvo and that's what I was commenting on.

What does your post have to do with anything ?

Though redundant, I think their regional pricing offsets the decision to go with Denuvo nicely

It's one thing to get more revenue through Epic store but taking it off Steam is a douche move by both Epic and Deep Silver.
I can only get a Steam wallet refund since I pre ordered it long time ago. Im considering ditching the Gold edition and settling for the base game only.

Also worth noting the Epic Games Store is selling the game for $49.99 in the US, $10 less than Steam.

Notice:
Later today, sales of Metro Exodus will be discontinued on Steam due to a publisher decision to make the game exclusive to another PC store.

The developer and publisher have assured us that all prior sales of the game on Steam will be fulfilled on Steam, and Steam owners will be able to access the game and any future updates or DLC through Steam.

We think the decision to remove the game is unfair to Steam customers, especially after a long pre-sale period. We apologize to Steam customers that were expecting it to be available for sale through the February 15th release date, but we were only recently informed of the decision and given limited time to let everyone know.

edit 2: Apparently it is a 1 year exclusivity for Epic Games Store. However all updates and patches will release on both platforms simultaneously for people who pre ordered the game on Steam.

Wait, so you're refunding the gold edition and pre ordering the standard or just calling it quits on this game via Steam for good ? If you're still gonna pre order the standard do it today cause looks like they'll stop selling the game on Steam in a few hours.

Aaaand refund request completed. Entire process took 40mins.

"Vote with your wallets" is the best we can do. Frankly I'm not sure if I wana support them at all at this point. The Wallet funds are still "pending" and apparently will be available within 24hrs.

I'll let fate decide.
