Its been mixed really. I know last season wasn't great from him but he seems to be highly rated at-least. I know the Liverpool subreddit was wanking over him a year or two ago when we were linked to a new GK. Regardless, I think he'll do good in the PL with Arsenal.
Yeah only time will tell. Chelsea might also need a keeper since courtois looks set to leave

Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papastathopoulos are apparently set for medicals at Arsenal, ahead of deals that will collectively be worth around £42.6 million.

So Spurs just went balls to the walls and didn't sign anyone this window. Their core is pretty good but this was still a shock lol. Anyways EPL is finally back, excited to see how Liverpool do with all the new players we signed. I think we are in a good position now to challenge City for the title.

4 weeks in already looks like there is little interest in discussion about the league this time around :D

Why not start by posting your prediction for the top 6.

I'm quite excited about Liverpool this season. 4 in 4 and we have grinded out games while not playing a 100%. I give us a serious shot at the title this season. My predictions for the top 6 this season would be:

1. Liverpool
2. City
3. Chelsea
4. United
5. Spurs
6. Arsenal

4- Chelsea
5- Utd
6- Arsenal

City to win the league by 10 points.

Liverpool över Spurs is quite possible and realistic, if I say so myself, but the matter of which team I hate more had to take the lower spot :hah:

This year it is harder to predict, i mean Utd and Spurs can easily trade places since Utd did not have the best start to the season also spurs have been near the top for the past 3 years without any significant signings.

What a cracking game of football. I think a draw was fair for both sides lots of missed chances. Especially us missing with Salah and Shaqiri but it will come. Defense was immense today, Van Djik is a boss and Alisson showing we we splashed so much money on him. I think it's the first time in a long while that our defense has been so good. Absolutely immense. Can't wait for Napoli and City, I hope our front three can get firing already lol

knock knock anyone home?

We're almost half way through the season, anyone wants to change their prediction?
I may be a little biased and I really don't wanna jinx Liverpool but judging how good we are performing and churning out results. I'd say the top 6 will be as follows:

1. Liverpool
2. Man City
3. Spurs
4. Arsenal
5. Chelsea
6. Man Utd

Based on defensive solidarity alone I could say we can get the job done. That GD isn't looking too bad either but I'm cautiously optimistic still. Absolutely anything can happen, but I'd give us the nod and Man City to run us close.

I still think man city will nick the title but my impressions from the start of the season has changed, it may be couple of points to decide the title. Liverpool a close second. I think chelsea will finish 4th, i am hearing higuain is coming on loan with morata going the other way. If that happens our goal scoring problems will be solved and that has been the main issue in the games we've lost and drawn. Also fekir is linked with chelsea

And City loses again, I mean I'm still not gonna jinx it but based on defensive solidity alone I still think Liverpool will finally win the title. Plus we have great squad depth for the congested fixtures hell we went through our toughest fixtures where we played UCL and top 6 and still qualified for knockouts and unbeaten in the league. I'm a little on edge with Chelsea, their blowing hot and cold. Same with Arsenal but I think they have a better attack than Chelsea. Still this season will be competitive as fuck with the top 3 now only separated by 7 points. I'm definitely enjoying the ride, this has been the most complete Liverpool side in recent years, eclipsing even 08/09.

I don't know what happened to city all of a sudden but my gut feeling is city will still win it, don't know how though because liverpool have been ruthless recently. Also kudos to poch spurs are now second

I am going with Chelsea for 4th because of the fact that arsenal as inconsistent as us and we're lacking a just a good striker to be able to win the matches we drew. If a good striker doesn't come in January then arsenal might finish above Chelsea

I think part of the reason for City's collapse is Fernandinho's injury and no decent backup for him. City's entire midfield collapses and I think that's one part where we are really strong. After the the bollocking we got last year in the Spurs game, Klopp drastically changed his defensive formation. I mean if you look at how good we've been defensively in 2018 its staggering. VVD's arrival and everyone just lifting their games adds cherry to that. Hell, even with Gomez injured, Lovren has been performing like a beast. Hendo, Gini and Fabinho all play as our 6 so we have options there. City really needed a CDM and its hurting them now. Too early to call the season now but if we get through today's game and City without losing it'll solidify our position that much more.

Its hard to call who among Chelsea & Arsenal will finish top 4. Its gonna be a fight that's for sure. I think Sarri not playing Kante in his usual position really hurt Chelsea in a couple games, if he can balance Kante and Jorginho in his team without compromise I'd back Chelsea easily. They do need a good striker though

Holy hell, absolutely smashed Arsenal. Great game but defensively, this was our nerviest game of the season. I'm still not getting carried away, this was an Arsenal side full of injuries and if they were at full strength I'd give them a shout to atleast get a draw against us. The match against City is the decider, I know half a season still remain but beating City could very well damage their spirits and team morale. Crucially, we'd have played most of the top 6. Fingers crossed, gonna be a cracker of a game.

Arsenal's defense is far worse than chelsea's and that's the main fact that will cost them in my opinion unless they strengthen in january. You can't always outscore your opponents

Yeah I fell you, same happened to us in 13/14 and more recently. Considering how Arsenal just collapsed against us, I'd give Chelsea but you never know. This season has been so good, like in any other time, Chelsea and Arsenal both would be first or close second but City and Liverpool have just gone Super Saiyan lol. Crazy season this.

The competition for the 3, 4 is even more interesting now. I thought spurs had the 3rd spot nailed because of the way they played in the last couple of games but you can rely on them bottling it :tv:

Arsenal lost points so the gap to Chelsea increased to 5 points. What's more interesting is the fact that Man Utd are just 3 points behind Arsenal now and the the way they are playing they could easily be in and around the top 4 at the end of the season. Crazy to think since they were far away from the top 5 a couple of weeks ago

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
