Hey,

I am looking to buy a OP3T here. Can someone please tell me reasons not to buy it other than no resale value/no parts?
Also which site is better, Telemart or Homeshopping?

reasons not to buy it? cant find any so far other than pure looks which some may like or dislike - personal choice - not related to performance.

My friend has it and the camera quality is not that thing . If you can get a 6s 32gb version in that price ,I'd say go for that instead .

Storage is not expandable.

In 40-50k range nothing beats 3T. It is the best option you have in Pakistan.
Expandable storage shouldn't be a problem with 64 gigs. Thanks!

I placed an order on HomeShopping even though it was more expensive than iShopping and Telemart because they claimed to have OxygenOS on their Chinese model. Telemart also had a Chinese model but it had HydrogenOS. iShopping didn't mention the phone's region let alone the OS. Thanks for the reply though.

We recently did a full review of the OnePlus 3T. You can watch it here: OnePlus 3T Review - Flagship Killer? (Urdu) - YouTube

It is an amazing phone.
Hey! I checked this review out before posting this thread. Loved your video, liked and subscribed. :)

I got mine for 51k imported

64 gb? What's the region?

I know, I saw a few sample photos, it might not be the best camera but it's still really good! Not a fan of iPhone and a 6s isn't available in that price range unless I go for a used one. Thank you for the reply though.

Only thing that means is that HomeShopping has opened the box and converted the HK variant device from HydrogenOS to OxygenOS.

You could do that yourself.

All Chinese / HK variants have HydrogenOS preinstalled. You have to convert them yourself.

Jshak has the A3010 64GB variant as well as far as I know.

Yeah, it does but HomeShopping doesn't send sealed boxes anyways if that's what you mean since they open the boxes before shipping to check if the phone is faulty or not. I'm okay with paying 500-1000 more and having OxygenOS installed out of the box. I checked with some threads on XDA and there were other reports of A3010 coming preinstalled with OOS too so maybe HomeShopping didn't doanything but there's no way of knowing that.
I had the option of importing the North American variant with 1 year warranty for around 45-46k but didn't because of the LTE bands and because the warranty wasn't going to matter anyways since it was American.

I bought from iShopping.pk, went to their office and checked everything then paid. I would not trust Homeshopping even with 100 rupees. Hoping that you haven't paid them in advance.

I know the boxes aren't sealed because they're opened by customs etc and by HSN themselves for QC, but I don't know how experienced their 'mobile department' is and I'd rather not have someone fiddling with my phone before I've even received it.

The ones you've read about on XDA with OOS supposedly preinstalled are actually the 3rd party retailers opening boxes, flashing OOS, resetting the devices and closing the boxes and selling them as 'International' variants.
Happens usually where OnePlus doesn't sell officially, like in Pakistan.

In this particular case, I'd definitely save the extra cash and go buy from someone else and flash OOS myself.

Be very careful with HSN, very careful.

And lastly, if you check XDA, there is a long and complicated procedure of enabling the relevant LTE bands on the A3000 US variant, but why go through all that trouble for saving a few thousand rupees?

I've bought two phones from Homeshopping previously and didn't have any problems with them. Why don't you trust HomeShopping?

What's wrong with HSN?

Hmmm, it's weird because I've ordered from them twice before but didn't have a problem. Most of the complaints say that they paid for their device beforehand. I've used the Cash on Delivery method the previous two times instead so maybe that's why I'm safe. I'm using the credit card method now but I still haven't paid for it and so technically I should be able to inspect the device before forking over my card, so what should I be on the lookout for to prevent any sort of scamming? Accessories? I can't go to About Phone etc because of the whole Android setup process.

I've got 30+ orders since 2012, towards the end the service started becoming 'questionable'.

Most of mine were COD with the exception of a few.
Still had issues.
Fake accessories, accessories removed, products already gone through the setup wizard, someone else's data on a laptop and something I didn't even order.

About Phone won't reveal much, just make sure you actually get on the setup wizard and not directly to the homescreen when you turn the phone on.
OnePlus has very unique cables (bright red) and a charging brick, so you'll instantly be able to tell if they've been changed.
As for the phone itself, check if there are any fingerprints on the screen, see if the plastic has been removed and reapplied, and see if there's dust in the charging port and headphone jack.

Once you flash OOS on them, it's basically an International ROM, so they come with Google Services installed.

Not sure about the HydrogenOS ones since they come from either China or Hong Kong, the latter has Google Apps.

Hey thanks for the reply. Got my device today. My dad did the inspection since I was at uni, he didn't check any of those things. But it seems like everything is fine, the accessories etc. Phone went through a proper setup too.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
