If you're a fan of action games then you OWE it to yourself to give Furi a shot. The game's combat is simple but deep and the enemies are actually just one big boss fight after the other.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download games such as Rebel Galaxy and Yakuza 5 for free next month as part of their membership, Sony announced today.

[h=1]Here’s your free PlayStation Plus games for October[/h]

[h=2]A pretty solid month is coming at you[/h]

PlayStation Plus members are getting a nostalgia-heavy line-up of free games with their subscription in October, as detailed on the PlayStation Blog. PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita owners can look forward to copies of games like Resident Evil HD, which headlines the list this month.

The Resident Evil remaster launched on PS4 in early 2015, updating the classic, 20-year-old game's visuals for current-gen hardware. Alongside it is Transformers Devastation, PlatinumGames' action-heavy take on the classic '80s cartoon. That game launched last fall to mixed reviews, but fans of the show and the studio will appreciate the beat-'em-up.

The full list of games is below:

  • Resident Evil HD (PS4)
  • Transformers Devastation (PS4)
  • From Dust (PS3)
  • Mad Riders (PS3)
  • Code: Realize ~Guardians of Rebirth~ (Vita)
  • Actual Sunlight (Vita)

Prices for PlayStation Plus went up just last week, and new subscribers can now expect to pay upward of $59.99 for the service. Alongside the monthly game giveaways, PlayStation Plus lets PS4 owners access online multiplayer.

[h=1]These are PlayStation Plus’ November giveaways[/h]

[h=2]Everybody can go to the rapture for free next month[/h]

PlayStation Plus’ monthly giveaways continue on as 2016 winds down, and next month’s lineup is a similarly low-key affair. Leading the set of free games for November are Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture on PlayStation 4 and Costume Quest 2 on PlayStation 3, alongside four other games across both consoles and the PlayStation Vita.

The full list is below:

  • Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (PS4)
  • Deadly Tower of Monsters (PS4)
  • Dirt 3 (PS3)
  • Costume Quest 2 (PS3)
  • Letter Quest Remastered (Vita, cross-buy with PS4)
  • Pumped BMX+ (Vita, cross-buy with PS3 and PS4)

Indie narrative adventure Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture launched to mixed reviews last summer, with some criticizing its length and slow pace. Costume Quest 2 is the 2014 follow-up to the Halloween role-playing game Costume Quest, and the game similarly received a tepid response upon release.
PlayStation Plus subscribers can download the games throughout November as part of their membership to the service. All six games will be available Nov. 1, when the current giveaways lineup rotates out. That gives members just a few more days to pick up classics like the PlayStation 4 remaster of Resident Evil.

[h=1]PlayStation Plus gets Day of the Tentacle Remastered and more next month[/h]

Sony will offer Day of the Tentacle Remastered and This War of Mine: The Little Ones free to PlayStation Plus subscribers in January 2017, the company announced today.
Those are the two PlayStation 4 games in the month’s PS Plus lineup; Day of the Tentacle Remastered, Double Fine Productions’ 2016 remaster of LucasArts’ beloved 1993 adventure game, will also be available free on PlayStation Vita via cross-buy. The Little Ones is the subtitle for the console port of 11 bit Studios’ This War of Mine, the survival game that debuted in 2014.
January’s other Vita titles are Acid Nerve’s Titan Souls, which is cross-buy with PS4, and 10tons’ Azkend 2: The World Beneath. Size Five Games’ The Swindle is also available on Vita via cross-buy, and it’s one of the two PlayStation 3 games for the month along with Targem Games’ Blazerush.
All six games will be available free to PlayStation Plus members as of next Tuesday, Jan. 3. In the meantime, subscribers can snag this month’s indie-heavy lineup.

[h=1]PlayStation Plus games for April 2017 include Drawn to Death, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime[/h]

[h=2]PlayStation 3 and Vita titles round this month’s short list[/h]

Sony announced April’s PlayStation Plus lineup today. We’ve known that David Jaffe’s Drawn to Death would be included for subscribers for a few weeks now, but today’s press release adds Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime as well as some titles for the PlayStation 3 and cross-buy titles on the PS Vita.
Drawn to Death launches on April 4 for $19.99. Current PS Plus members will get the game for free on PS4, and be able to keep it in their collection so long as their membership stays current. It’s a third-person arena shooter with a distinctive art style, intended to look like the doodles of that one weird kid who never paid attention in middle school, but who also happened to be an amazing artist.

PS4 owners will also get Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, an indie darling and a finalist at the Independent Games Festival in 2013. The one- to four-player cooperative game tasks players with maneuvering a massive ship together, and fighting against incredible odds.
Other titles include Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom and Alien Rage — Extended Edition on the PS3, as well as 10 Second Ninja and Curses ‘n Chaos for the PS Vita. Both of those titles feature cross-buy functionality with the PS 4.

Don’t forget to move quickly and pick up all the March PS Plus games before they expire.

[h=1]Game of Thrones, Until Dawn lead July’s PlayStation Plus games (update)[/h]

[h=2]A terrific lineup to start off the summer[/h]

July 2017 is a terrific month for PlayStation Plus, with a number of well-regarded titles set to go free for subscribers.

PlayStation 4 owners get the best of the lot, as usual, with Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn and Telltale Games’ Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series. They can also download Infinite State Games’ Don’t Die, Mr. Robot, which is a cross-buy title across PS4 and PlayStation Vita.
The other free Vita game for July is I-Illusions’ Element4l. PlayStation 3 customers have something to celebrate, too — they’ll get SIE Japan Studio’s Tokyo Jungle and Iron Galaxy Studios’ Darkstalkers Resurrection.
Sony is also offering a few bonuses to PlayStation Plus subscribers starting in July. At E3 2017, the company announced a suite of games under a new brand called PlayLink, which features social games that are designed to be played with smartphones. One of the first PlayLink titles is Wish Studios’ That’s You, a party game that supports two to six players; it will be free from July 4 through Oct. 24.

In addition, Robot Entertainment announced today that it will launch Orcs Must Die! Unchained on PS4 on July 18. It’s a free-to-play game with microtransactions, and all Plus subscribers will have exclusive access to an Plus Pack — a $20 value, according to the studio — for free. The Plus Pack will only be available until Aug. 17.
July’s PlayStation Plus titles will go free next Tuesday, July 4. In the meantime, you can still get the June games.

Correction: Due to an error in the PlayStation Blog post announcing the July lineup, this story mistakenly said Orcs Must Die! Unchained would be launching in closed beta on PS4. The July 18 release date represents the launch of the full game. We’ve edited the article to reflect this.

[h=1]PlayStation Plus offers Just Cause 3 and more in August[/h]
[h=2]Two big franchises come to the Instant Game Collection[/h]

August is all about major franchises in the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection, withJust Cause 3 and Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry both available free to subscribers, Sonyannounced today.
Avalanche Studios’ Just Cause 3 launched in December 2015, and is notable for being a game whose performance is significantly improved by the PS4 Pro’s Boost Mode. Freedom Cry originated in December 2013 as an add-on for Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, and publisher Ubisoft released it as a stand-alone game in February 2014. It tells the story of Adewale, a former slave attempting to liberate slaves on Haitian plantations.
Those are two of the three PlayStation 4 titles for the month, along with indie hitDownwell, which is a PlayStation Vita game that’s also available on PS4 via cross-buy. The other Vita title is Noego Games’ Level 22, a stealth game set in an office. On the PlayStation 3 side, the two free games are XGen Studios’ Super Motherload, an adventure game set on Mars, and Gamoola Soft’s Snakeball, a 3D version of Snake.
Sony also announced that Dreadnought, the free-to-play aerial combat game set in space, will launch in open beta on Aug. 1. All PlayStation Plus subscribers will get the Ravenswood Plus Pack free, and will be able to buy a PlayStation Plus Pack for $20. In addition, Plus subscribers can play Doom for free from July 27-30 and get the game at a 50 percent discount through Aug. 3.
Finally, Plus subscribers get a bonus in the PlayStation Video Store, too: movie rentals for 99 cents. One movie will be available at that price each week for the next six weeks, starting with The Lego Batman Movie. Another acclaimed superhero film, Logan, will be highlighted next Tuesday, Aug. 1.

[h=1]PlayStation Plus games for September include a free VR title (update)[/h]

[h=2]Just in time for that headset price drop[/h]

September’s PlayStation Plus games include a PlayStation VR-compatible title, among several other games — a giveaway that makes sense, considering Sony is effectively slashing the price on its virtual reality headset.
That game is RIGS: Mechanized Combat League, a unique sports game where players control mechs in a variety of matches. It requires the PSVR headset to play, so you’re out of luck on this title if you’re without one. There’s time to pick up the now-$399 headset bundle and still get the game for free, however, as the giveaway is live from Sept. 5 until Nov. 7.
There are two other PlayStation 4 games that don’t require any VR to play, at least.Infamous: Second Son and Strike Vector Ex are also free for subscribers during the month of September.
Here’s the full September PS Plus games list, all of which will be available starting Sept. 5.
PlayStation 4: Infamous Second Son, Strike Vector Ex, RIGS: Mechanized Combat League
PlayStation 3: Truck Racer, Handball 2016
PlayStation Vita: We Are Doomed, Hatoful Boyfriend
Update: Sony issued a correction to its original post to say that it had mixed up this month’s PlayStation Plus titles. The correct list is above.

[h=1]PlayStation Plus subscribers get MGS 5: The Phantom Pain free in October[/h]

[h=2]Plus both Amnesia games![/h]

October 2017’s lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers is a top-heavy one, with two terrific PlayStation 4 games in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain andAmnesia: Collection.
The Phantom Pain is the critically acclaimed 2015 follow-up to the appetizer that wasMetal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, and it was the final project that Hideo Kojima worked on at Konami. He parted ways with the company that year and re-established Kojima Productions as an independent studio.
Amnesia: Collection bundles together all three titles in Frictional Games’ horror franchise: 2010’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent and its 2011 expansion, Amnesia: Justine, as well as the game’s 2013 sequel, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. The package was released on PS4 last November as the series’ console debut.
The rest of October’s lineup isn’t quite as huge, but there may be something for you in there, especially since two of the other games are cross-buy titles:

  • Monster Jam Battlegrounds, PS3
  • Hustle Kings, PS3
  • Hue, PlayStation Vita (cross-buy with PS4)
  • Sky Force Anniversary, PS Vita (cross-buy with PS4, PS3)

All six games will be free for Plus subscribers from Oct. 5 through Nov. 2. That’s You, one of the first titles in Sony’s new PlayLink program of games that are playable with mobile devices, will expire as a free-with-Plus title on Oct. 24 — so this is your last chance to pick it up.

Wanna shoot some things? Or maybe you wanna dance?

PlayStation Plus subscribers have five giveaway games to choose from during November, and each one is tailored to a completely unique taste.

While Worms Battlegrounds and Bound will be available exclusively throughout the month of November, PlayStation Plus members will have the chance to grab Until Dawn: A Rush of Blood from Nov. 7 until Jan. 2. The PlayStation Blog’s post about the lineup refers to this game as a “bonus,” as it did September’s VR title for members, RIGS: Mechanized Combat League.

PlayStation 4: Bound, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, Worms Battlegrounds

PlayStation 3: R-Type Dimensions, Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic

[h=1]December’s PlayStation Plus games end 2017 with Death and pandas[/h]

The final batch of games offered to PlayStation Plus subscribers this year includesDarksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and, more importantly, Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends. It’s perhaps an unexciting way to end 2017, a year that was nothing if not ... exciting?
Both Darksiders 2 and Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends will be available for PlayStation 4 owners to download. Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition is a remaster of the 2012 original; the Deathinitive Edition was released on PS4 and Xbox One in 2015.Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends is a Smash Bros.-like fighting game in which four players duke it out as protagonist panda Po and all those other anthropomorphic animals you love from the Kung Fu Panda franchise.
On PlayStation 3, PS Plus subscribers will get free access to the Syberia Collection andXblaze Lost: Memories, a visual novel based on Arc System Works’ BlazBlue series. PlayStation Vita owners will get access to Metroidvania-style adventure Forma.8 (which is also cross-buy-compatible with PS4) and top-down action game Wanted Corp.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be able to download Until Dawn: Rush of Blood for PlayStation VR in December (through Jan. 2, 2018, actually).
November’s PlayStation Plus titles are still available to download. Games currently on offer include Bound, Worms Battlegrounds, R-Type Dimensions and Dungeon Punks.
