He did drop a hint of making a comeback of sorts. We do need stability in our batting order, be it any format. And with Yousuf's absence in the upcoming series against SA, I won't be surprised if YK gets recalled to play the T20's as well 8)

but it will be good if he sticks to retirement that will make him man of his words
as for yousuf he is not a t20 material

we already have Shazib , and other young lads to provide fire power in t20
the real test will be the test matches lets see how younis perform in both odi and test matches
also Taufeeq Omer has returned lets see how he proves his critics wrong

but still i dont understand why some parchi players like farhat was selected

Nice work Ottoman..
Ok first of all Former Captain is back ...And I'm quite happy cause our team can become strong for WC if some experienced players are brought in..And I'll be much happier if he plays better...
Next I want M.Amer to get clear from all the bad stuff and join the bowling department cause he plays a very imp. role against Left Handed Batsmen (Salman and Asif can rot in that shit :p).....I think PCB should rush their work cause its time to think about WC now...

i dont think so after recent ICC meeting Butt was pressurized from all the boards

even PCB has closed doors for Amir ,Asif and butt to train in PCB academy they are not allowed to use any facility and their lawyer fees will be paid by themselves rather than PCB . Looks like PCB has backed up rather than defending them

And thats what we call a worst management.....If PCB doesn't do something about Aamer then they are loosing a very talented bowler
magar bro look what these kidz have done also
lets see how things go out in future if he is really a fixer then there should be no pardon
like we say in football no player is bigger than club . Similarly Pakistan has so much talent we can produce players even better than Amir bus merit per ho selection

which has now started a little bit cause here also there was big movement to kick Ijaz butt out . He has started to take some good measures to save his arse

firstly if they have to call younis back then why they throw him out of the team It is good for team pak that younis is back but i think pcb chairman was sleeping when pakistan was losing against england in tests and odis..he should b the captain for test matches against SA..cause misbah FARIG HAI...his own performence is nothing then how he would make whole team performe...but hope for the best...

I agree with you completely. And that's one reason I'm thankful to the ICC. Because I doubt anyone else would've pressurized Butt to get his act right

Scotland Yard must hurry with it's investigations. I don't think the case is as complex as they are making it out to be. The players are either guilty or not. And the more they prolong this case, the weaker our chances will be for the WC. All this confusion regarding the spot fixing saga has had an adverse effect on our cricket :(

Well you know personal grudges and awful management . (n) These alone have cost us entire series in the past
That's why people want Butt to go because he can't (or won't) handle the affairs in a correct manner unless under pressure to do so. In short, he just isn't sincere enough

My bad :$ Ok he said he's available for T20 so that amounts to taking back retirement. But the thing that matters is whether he gets selected in the T20 squad or not.
Personally, I doubt he'll be drafted into the T20 squad so fast. Maybe they'll give him time to settle down first by playing him in tests and Odis

yes i dont want him to be drafted in t20 side

t20 should be for giving chances to upcoming youngsters to get the taste of international cricket
as far younis he should concentrate more on odi and tests and show his performance there

Asif withdraws appeal

"Asif has withdrawn his appeal which was filed against his suspension by the ICC"

Apparently, it means he has confessed of wrongdoing. But his lawyer says she needs more time to prepare his case :S
So gather around and get ready for more drama and masala news

Pakistan's assignment following the UAE series is a tour of New Zealand in December by when the ICC would have conducted a full hearing - which needs to be held within three months of imposing the provisional suspension - into the controversy. The suspensions were handed out on September 2 this year and Asif can now only apply for the punishment to be lifted once the full hearing has concluded.
