[h=1]New 3DS System Update Combines 3DS/Wii U eShop Currency Balances, Adds Miiverse[/h]



A new Nintendo 3DS system update will arrive sometime next month. The system update will finally combine the eShop balances using a unified Nintendo Network ID, which players can register once the update is released. Nintendo will also be adding Miiverse to 3DS soon.

Using the Nintendo Network ID for both the 3DS and Wii U, players can use a single eShop balance to purchase software on both platforms. Players will need to make sure to register the same ID on both devices or else it will not combine the eShop balances.

After the system update is out, Nintendo will ask players to register a Nintendo Network ID to download demos and other software. Users will still be able to download paid content without a NNID.

Miiverse on 3DS will also launch alongside the new system update, allowing users to connect to players and the community to share tips and other information.

I Just Finished downloading but it doesnt work cause in pakistan youtube is banned so our stupid f**king servers cant reach youtube without proxy but in the 3ds there is no proxy :(

People,i updated my American 3ds system today to 7.0.0 something,the Miiverse update,and the NNID update,i made my new NNID and did some surfing around Miiverse(really cool) but when i wanted to update my Streetpass MiiPlaza or wanted to open the eSHOP,an error kept on coming everytime i tried to get into the eSHOP,is any one else having this prob?any solution?and tell me about ur Miiverse and NNID experience too ^_^

Oh and sjay23,if ur talking about AA Dual Destinies then yeah i did purchase it,played till the middle of second case,its very modernized, with the awesome new smooth animations of the characters,which can actually show the stuff they r talking about,really cool,but the game REALLY wraps ur mind around till u just HAVE to check a wiki,walkthrough or F.A.Q,but get it ASAP shouldnt miss it,or wait for a sale,my eshops not working so im screwed ;(

[h=1]Nintendo 3DS Receives the Miiverse, Network ID & Other Improvements[/h]


The Miiverse has finally arrived on the Nintendo 3DS today via a 3DS system update, as well as unification on eShop balances for both 3DS and Wii U accounts with Nintendo Network ID. There's also a few key improvements made in this new 3DS update.


Some improvements made to the 3DS include removing the five system transfer limitation and having the camera feature unlocked by pressing both the L+R shoulder buttons simultaneously.
Here's the full change log in firmware version 7.0.0-13U:


Added Support for Nintendo Network IDs:
• Users can now create or link a Nintendo Network ID, which is required to use some network services, from within System Settings
• Nintendo eShop has been updated to support Nintendo Network IDs (*1)
• For more information regarding Nintendo Network IDs, please visit our Nintendo Network ID introduction page


Added Support for Miiverse:
• Users can now view and post to Miiverse from Nintendo 3DS family systems
• For more information regarding Miiverse, please visit our Miiverse introduction page


Added a Software Update Notification:
• A notification will now display when software is started and update data is available (*2)


Removed the limit to system transfers:
• The previous limit of five system transfers per system has been removed


Changed the start-up method of Nintendo 3DS Camera from the HOME Menu:
• Pressing the L and R Buttons simultaneously will now start the Nintendo 3DS Camera from the HOME Menu


Improved system stability and usability:
• Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
*1 Credit card information stored on the Nintendo eShop will be deleted after this update is performed or after linking a new Nintendo Network ID
*2 SpotPass must be enabled to use this feature

There's also an update to the StreetPass Mii Plaza. No details were given on what has been changed, however.

I have tried it on 6.2.0-12 by upgrading r4's latest fw i.e 7.0. it works with custom kernel which u have provided to me.

It should work on 3ds 7.0 fw, as the r4's fw update itself referring to 7.0 (may be this fw is for 3ds official 7.0, logicaly it should work).

    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
