Newegg Imported SSD seems DOA. Any options for me?

Salam guys. So I got myself a NVME SSD (Western Digital Sn550) with the help of a PG member (great, friendly guy. Don't get the wrong idea ffs) and my mobo can't detect it. Since the mobo is new, I'm inclined to think the SSD is DOA. So I asked the guy and he told me that there is a 30 day return policy for newegg but there is no shipping option since no one accepts electronics shipping here. We live in Karachi btw. I also tried opening an RMA ticket on the main site and asking WD to help us but it says RMAs are disabled, dunno why prolly because of this whole covid mess I guess. Any options left?

Also I don't have anyone with an NVME mobo in my circle but if anyone lives near me and is willing to check the ssd out on their PC, I'd be grateful. I live in North Karachi. Thanks.

Did u checked may be the Nvme/M2 option is disabled in Bios.

Or sometimes when your using 4 to 6x Sata slots/devices/Hard Disks on mobo, then you have to disable atleast 2 Sata ports of the mobo in bios usually no 5 and 6 for Nvme or an M2 SSD to work.

I don't think it's DOA you're probably not configuring something properly.

I don't think it's DOA you're probably not configuring something properly.

Yeah I actually did all that. I have a MSI B450 Tomahawk. There is no option to enable M2 in the bios though, have confirmed it in the manual and on the net as well. I have only 2 SATA ports occupied at 1 and 2. I've tried removing them as well with just the NVMe installed but doesn't work.
