[SOLVED] [New or Used] Best cell phone in 50k range?

Hello, I want to switch from Samsung Galaxy A5 2017. I'd like to buy some phone that would last for some time. There's no issue in Samsung A5 but I just want to upgrade. I can buy both used or new.

Also any idea how much my Samsung A5 2017 would sell for? It's 10/10, not even a single scratch, full box and 4 months warranty is still left.

What about Nokia 8?

Nokia 8 4gb ram or 6gb ram will have a noticeable difference?


I've Nokia 8 (New) and iPhone 7 (used) in mind...


Looking for:
1) Phone that will last for long.
2) Good camera with bokeh effects.
3) Well optimized and faster apps (Snapchat, Instagram etc)
4) Good battery.
5) Faster fingerprint.

Nothing beats OP 5T but i doubt you can get a new one for 50k, Nokia 7 plus isnt available in Pakistan and Xiaomi isnt releasing 5 pro here.

Yes Nokia 8 isnt a looker but copper color looks different and you can always go for some fancy cover. In market I got a quote for Nokia 6.1 for 20500, I am sure with a good retailer Nokia 8 is even cheaper. And there is nothing like a brand new pin pack item

That's true, you're absolutely right.

Nokia 7 plus is available at Advance Telecom for the same price as Nokia 8.

Now it comes to the looks and performance. Either I'll have to buy Nokia 8 for a better processor or Nokia 6 for better looks. I don't know how much difference will be there in both phones.

Nokia 6.1 is an excellent mid ranger, with average camera but superb build quality, only let down is 32gb memory but then again in market it is available for 20500 and that is a killer price for such a phone good alternate to nokia 6.1 is redmi 5 plus but both are mid ranger phones .. only flag ship phone available in 30k range is nokia 8, OP5T still will cost you 60k without warranty,

Exactly. A 60k phone without a warranty isn't good for a person like me. Haha.

I've done a lot of comparisons and seen a lot of videos. I think the Nokia 7 Plus wins but then again, it isn't a flagship phone and that's why Nokia 8 attracts me. It's really confusing. I buy phone for a long time and that's why I take a lot of time in buying. :laugh1:

One major drawback of Nokia 8: Its battery!

and a major turnoff of Nokia 7 Plus is the corning gorilla glass 3!!!
