Another case of CerebralTiger utterly failing to understand or purposely ignoring the content he posts himself :ROFLMAO:

The only thing to understand here is that OLED suffers from burn-in when you don't vary content or if there are prolonged static elements on-screen. Game UI is a perfect example of the latter 🤜

Good thing Game Pass gives you the opportunity to vary a lot content, I guess 🤣

"only context is my own failure of understanding the results"...hmmm k, got it :ROFLMAO:

Lets give some actual context though.

These TVs were running non-stop for over 7000 hours. You also failed to tell us that there were 2 gaming related tests. Call of Duty showed no issues even after ~7700 hours. FIFA 18 has some uniformity issues which were "still not visible under normal content". Moreover, these tests were conducted on a C7, which is a 4 years old model.

You, yet again, failed to comprehend the results because of your agenda. Not surprised at all though 🤷‍♂️

Good thing Game Pass gives you the opportunity to vary a lot content, I guess 🤣
Is Game Pass available on Switch OLED though? Yikes :ROFLMAO:

The test was indeed conducted with the TVs running non-stop, but the conclusion and recommendation were based on everyday, not non-stop, usage.

Imagine failing to comprehend something and then telling others they don't get it 🤣

Still ignoring the fact that the only gaming tests they ran showed no permanent burn-in after 46 weeks of continuous usage.

But but but but "get used to disabling all game UI" :ROFLMAO:

lmao while testing games with with minimal and non-saturated HUD elements that are constantly varying, as seen in the video. Who's ignoring that? 🤣

Burn-in equally affects gaming and non-gaming content. If anything, most UI in games is more in-line with the description of "static content with bright, saturated colors".

I mean, you just bumped the thread with a 2 years old video (which im beginning to think you didn't even know lmao), where the stress tests are conducted on a 4 years old model.

And you're telling OLED owners to disable HUD when the gaming tests showed no burn in.

The only fair conclusion to draw here is that Sony X90H owners are miserable after their purchase 🤣

The LG C1 and G1 aren't based on different technology. I shared a 2 year old video because the results and the conclusion drawn are also true for LG's current lineup (a quick glance at AV forums will reveal some rather fascinating stories regarding LG OLEDs). Even the G1 Evo panel still uses a WRGB pixel structure 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

This isn't even the same as regular OLED 🤣

QD-OLED is a hybrid design that combines the brightness and colors of quantum dot technology, found in Samsung’s existing flagship QLED TVs, with backlighting from self-emissive OLED panels.
More like a Q turn 🤣

Iss skit ki bhi re-enactment hou jaye 🤣

Poor LG's WRGB panels. Samsung was never interested in them to begin with, when they can manufacture much superior QD panels of their own lmao.

While clearly not as good as MicroLED, if these QD-OLED panels do indeed offer superior peak brightness and tackle burn-in issues as Samsung claims they do, this could spell doom for LG
