Salam everyone, sorry if this is not the right place to post this, I will delete it and move it to other sections.

I have saved some money for my first ever actual gaming PC and now need some advice on parts from you guys. I have shortlisted the following setup and its over-budget at the moment (excluding TV). I have added estimated prices I could see on online Pakistani stores.

About my needs/use:
  1. I have a lot to catch up (RDR2, Witcher 3, GTA V etc.
  2. Regularly only play couch games like FIFA, Cricket and some small games like Hidden in plain sight, Overcooked and like
  3. I am not going to do any online multiplayer competitive games

Please feel free to roast any stupid mistakes or add your recommendations:

CPU = AMD Ryzen 5600X51,000This is the only part where I feel confident of making a good choice
Motherboard = ASUS ROG STRIX B55040,000Not sure about compatibility with CPU but its recommended on many forums/youtube build guides
RAM = Corsair 2 x 16GB30,000Can I save some cost here by going for 16GB?
CPU Cooler6,000No Idea which to go one. Just set up a rough budget
PSU = FSP HYPER K PRO 700W11,000Watts look good enough and is relatively cheap
Storage = SAMSUNG 860 QVO 1TB SSD18,000The TVO series is kinda expensive & probably overkill, right?
GPU = ASUS TUF RTX™ 2060 6GB70,000 (need some advice here)Think RTX 2060 would be good enough?
Case = Thermaltake Versa N21 5,500Don't need anything too fancy, just looking for good airflow
TOTAL (without TV)231,500
TV = TCL 50" P615 UHD Android TV84,000Don't want a monitor (not going to put it on a desk)
TOTAL (With TV)315,500

Thanks again :)

Go with Antec A400 if you are not gonna do any overclocking, I have the same cooler and it keeps my 5600x under 75 C and its pretty cheap.

Not sure if the 2060 will be good enough for 4k, DLSS might make it work at that resolution. How many fps are you targeting?

That motherboard might be overkill, if you are not planning on upgrading to 5800x or 5900x in the future or don't care about wifi etc, then a cheaper motherboard should be fine. I use Gigabyte B550 gaming X V2 and its way cheaper and handles the 5600x just fine.

That 2060 is a sweet deal btw considering the insane gpu prices now days.

Thank you especially the cooler rec.

I am targetting 4k 60FPS

I have gotten similar suggestions about motherboard, thanks. I have decided to go with B550 or B450 (if I go with 3600X).

Yeah, if I could snatch a 2060 at that price lol, I visited market and it's priced at around 140k lol. I am now thinking of 1660 or something untill prices are little under control.

At higher resolutions the gpu has to do most of the work and so the 3600x should be fine with high end gpus unless you want to do some cpu intensive tasks. You can save money on motherboard and cpu and spend it on a good gpu as you are targeting 4k 60fps. I saw some videos and there is very minor or no difference b/w 3600 and 5600x at 4k res, both get similar fps most of the time as its gpu bound at that point.

i think you could spend less on the Ram and put that money towards getting a higher spec PSU. also make sure that whatever Tv you buy has actual gaming reviews done on it. playing an FPS on a 50" TV isn't really a good thing considering the high Ms that most Tvs usually have

Hey there,
I know its late.
Very late, but hear me out.

What you are spending on your PC is not worth it, not in 2021.
And it's not because of the inflation, it's because of the fact that GPU will cost you an entire lung.

Rather than going for a computer,
Get an Xbox Series X, and a TV.
If you really want have access to a computer due to work,
Then, get a laptop alongside that.

3 of these are far more efficient spending than getting a PC these days.
And with the Xbox, you can get game pass for a year, enjoy good savings on buying video games.

Now, if you want to use the piracy excuse... well, it's still cheaper to get XBSX with GP than pirating.

My two cents;

CPU = AMD Ryzen 5600XTray=51,000
Box=60,000
Can't beat AM4+Zen 3 on games or productivity and 5600X is the best bang for the buck CPU rn.
Motherboard =
Asus PRIME B550M-A
19,900ASUS/Gigabyte/Asrock have good reliable motherboards, mATX (Micro ATX) are cheaper than ATX, or get ATX if you need more PCIe slots in future, buy the one that is available and cheaper among the above mentioned brands, if you need WiFi then get a motherboard with built-in WiFi.
RAM = Trident Z Neo 3600Mhz CL16 2 x 8GB17,000You are not gonna need more than 16GB for gaming unless you do content creation on Pr & Ae, try to get the Trident Z Neo or at a lower budget any RAM with 3600 Mhz speed with CL16 or lower.
CPU Cooler0Stock Cooler for 5600X is more than enough, you won't gain any performance from aftermarket coolers, if you want to streamline airflow towards rear or if you buy Tray CPU without the cooler then get the Cooler Master MasterAir MA410P (7,000)
PSU =
CORSAIR RM650 650 Watt 80 PLUS Gold Fully Modular
18,500Get at least a 80+ Gold rated power supply, will save you in electricity costs in long term. PSU should be 650 watts or higher for that load, don't skimp on PSU, cheap PSU will damage your hardware, get Corsair RM series or equivalent.
Storage = SAMSUNG 980 NVME 1 TB23,900Get NVMe, not a 2.5" SATA SSD.
Get at least 512GB for your system drive, ~3000Mb/s Read/Write, 970 EVO Plus or 980 equivalent.
GPU =
RTX 2000/3000
??????Yes, any 2000 or 3000 series RTX card will be good enough, get the one that fits your budget then adjust resolution and graphic settings accordingly, even 3090 can't run some games at max settings on 4K, you will have to optimise.
Case = Lian Li Lancool II Mesh17,200AirFlow matters a LOT. Get a case with good airflow. At a lower price point Lian Li Lancool II Mesh (rated top Airflow case by GN) or higher budget Cooler Master H500M.
TV = Hisense 50A7400F UHD Android TV89,999it's far better than TCL in nits/brilliance, HDR quality, dimming zones and dark levels.
TOTAL (without GPU)246,500
TOTAL (With GPU)?

    I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.

    did you know you can see @NaNoW credited in the game too ? :p

    What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

    After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.
