Hello Everyone!
Is it possible to get a decent (all parts new) gaming PC under 100K in March 2021? By gaming, I mean Fortnite, GTAV, CSGO etc some casual gaming maybe 2,3 hours a day max.

I prefer new parts because I'm quite new to this custom PC thingy (been using Laptop for work and light gaming for the past 10 years almost) so I'm not sure if I know how to find a good used (let's say) GPU, or PSU etc.

PART1: INTEL
I spend a few days on galaxy pk and made a list:
MB: Gigabyte GA B460M Gaming HD
CPU: Intel Core i3 10100F 10th Gen. 3.6GHZ 6MB Cache
RAM: Corsair Vengence DDR4 16GB 3200Bus LPX
PSU: Redragon GC-PS002 600W 80 Plus Bronze
SSD: WD SSD 120GB GREEN SATA
HDD: Seagate 1TB 3.5" Barracuda Sata HDD
and a good looking Case, preferably with RGB strips/fans

These cost around 70-75K, which is more than I expected, is 30K enough for a GPU? Should I change something that might be a overkill?
I know it's a stupid question, but can/should I play Fortnite, GTAV without a GPU? Also I was unable to find any GPU in <50K. ITNI MEHNGAI?

PART2: AMD
I heard a lot about AMD Ryzen processors, apparently, Linus (from LTT) prefers them over Intel, and we can game without GPU, can we?
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3500X 3.6 GHZ 32MB Cache
We need AMD mobo right? what about RAM?
PSU, SSD and HDD can be same as above I think?

I know these are a lot of questions, feel free to answer any what you can. In the end I'll probably go to Amir Traders (RWP) and ask them: BHAI IN PAISON MAIN JO KER SAKTAY HO KERDO 😛

Thanks,
Farhan

My friend, building a PC right now is a bad move.
You'll never land a good GPU at a fair price.

Honestly, I never really recommend this to people...
But you're better off investing a little bit of that cash into a performance-savvy laptop that has a 1660 or a 2060 GPU.

At least you'll be able to game.

Fairly outdated at this point but better than nothing in this mess of a market.

This, if you don't mind the lack of HDD.

And if you don't mind spending a bit more, then getting the ASUS Zephyrus G14 will do.
It comes with a better screen, which I say is kind of worth it.
Slightly over the MSRP, but then again, better than nothing.

of course, what i Just recommended isn't something ANYONE with a brain will go for, but then again, our market and the world market and the crypto market has truly given us deeply straight in the butt.

Thanks for your valuable input. What if I don't buy a GPU right now? Just build a PC (that I can upgrade in the future if required) and buy a GPU in 6 months or a year, will this work? I do need a computer for work (LAPTOP IS LAGGY AF)

If the prices of other components will remain (more or less) unchanged then should I wait to build the PC? I can use the PC for work and light gaming and when the GPU process get less (crazy), I'll buy a GPU.

So my question is: Can/SHOULD I play Fortnite on 10th gen corei3 or Ryzen 5 3500X?

You can run fortnite, but not to favorable performance on the i3 with iGPU.
UHD630 (iGPU) Will honestly be a pain to play on. (Here's a video)

As for 3500X, the CPU does not come with integrated graphics, so you'll need a Dedicated GPU alongside that.

So, you can build the PC right now with a cheap GPU, which yes, you should since you seem to need the productivity. -

if you want to wait then don't do it in hopes that prices will stabilize anytime soon.
The Crypto craze has only just started and if the past is any indicator, we can see this being an issue for average consumer for the next 15 or so months.

Look for a GTX1060, in used. (No other way)
Going prices on OLX starting from 18,000 to 28,000.
Don't pay more than 25k for it (this is still stretching it but if you can find it as cheap as you can, then go for it).

Then pair it with the 3500x.
if you can't find 1060.
Go for intel and make do with iGPU until a good deal on a GPU Comes around.

It's really up to you.
my major advice is still the same as before. (Getting a high end laptop)

Thanks, this makes a lot of sense. Darn you Dogecoin (in fact all the altcoins)

I'll set olx search as my homepage 😁 If I can get 1060 in 25K then my build will be well within budget.

I'll do some more research because (obviously) I don't know much about Ryzen processors. Thanks for your input though you've been a great help. 👍

I would suggest go for an iGPU setup for now, build your gaming PC with a good iGPU then add on a GPU later when the market is right. AMD's "G" series CPUs have iGPU (integrated GPU) built-in, non G CPUs don't have it and can't output video as well. Go for AMD 3400G with a B550 Motherboard and the fastest RAM you can afford since iGPU will use system's RAM for its graphic memory. Technically you can run 3400G even on an A320M motherboard but it won't offer CPU upgrade option later down the line or faster memory options. You can wait for AMD 5400G or go for 3400G right now and upgrade later.

Alternatively, you can go for the Intel 11th Gen CPUs if you feel AMD CPUs hard to find. Apart from built on 14nm, less cores, higher TDP, higher power consumption & lower performance than 10th Gen or AMD's counterparts, it's built-in new IRIS Xe iGPUs are an upgrade from previous gen CPUs and brings Intel on par with AMD's iGPUs' performance.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.
