My first effort on making a Documentary

it was a very good documentary.... but the v starting line is........................ i just don't agree with it... education is never a weapon.. knowledge can b a weapon but not education....... still it was a very nice effort as i saw u making it
should have documented the main block more and some area between of botany and chem,,,, math department area...... from the road side..... anyhow as for a starter it is amazing.... appreciated

[MENTION=56421]assassin2646[/MENTION] I did wanted to make some on that area too but I limited my documentary to 5-8min max. Shooting those department means 2-5min more minimum. Theres too much in Islamia Uni. Alone in library, there are such extreme rare books that It was still kept hidden from me. A very authentic source told me that they got some books that will start misconception in many things......

if its possible for you add Glidecam in your gear and shot moving scenes with it , then your documentaries will be mind blowing (professional)

I haven't seen the full thing but i have few comments to make things better IMO, Since multimedia is my majors and i do this for living so i might have seen it more critically than others so please don't mind

At 1:00 mark there is a jerk
At 1:29 mark there is consistency problem, the title to introduce registrar and the student are different
At 1:39 mark the cut is few seconds early, should have let her complete the sentence "a few students"
At 2:10 mark you should use a block for titles which should be consistent across the documentary, this would give them prominence as well as consistency
At 2:12 & 2:20 mark you have not used transnational effect which you have been using before, it gives a abrupt change effect
Few of the transations you could fine tune the timeline so that the white back ground color should not appear, ideally one frame should just blend into the second one without any background color
Subtitle colors keep changing
Language used keeps changing, who is your target audience? if you want it to be viewed internationally than keep the language english, if its meant for local audience than keep it urdu (or any other native language as per audience) you have though tried to cover it by using subtitles which is a thumbs up

For first time effort i would give this 9/10 great execution and impact, you have kept the attention span by keeping things moving on the screen, good use of sound track.

Am saving for that now Though making a home-made dolly now a days.

Thanx for the technical issues, I did notice them and realize the mistakes after taking a shot. I was actually too exhausted. I have made all this documentary in 2-days.
The reason of shaking is cox of non-professional tripod. I bought it for 2000rs, its get shaky on load.
I wasn't aware of the title placement before. A producer here in Isb guide me about it, after I released the Doc.
Actually, those subtitle colors, placement and other related issues were cause of my laziness. I knew what I was doing was wrong but that subtitle part was pain the a$$. I got too fed-up of the editing and stuff that I didn't cared that much on that and now am regretting it

And I spend 6 hours selecting the music

And bro I don't mind about the criticism, such support and guidelines helps me polishing the skills
