Murree tour [guidence_need]

This is Asad, in thsi winter semester break, I'm visiting murree flight is on Dec 31 to islamabad. We are 5 friends. I'd like to know which place in murree will be having snowfall? Will i be nathia gali, ghora gali, Ayubuia? any chances of MUSHKPURI top. I heard it now, and saw it's an excellent place. If not then I can move ahead to balakot or naran.

We wiill be bringing 7000 per person a our budget. Also I want to know what will be the rent to a single in hotel in nathiagali or murree. cheapest one.

At mall road you will find alot of hotels. Just see the ones they offer with water heater.
A good room should cost u around 5000 to 7000 rps. All can squeeze in one room

Thank you for the response. We are trying to be more cheaper and cheaper. Have you ever been to Mushkpuri top, Junaid bhai? We're looking to stay for 2-3 days in murree or where ever but near to it.

When you reach murree., you will find alot of options. Just negotiate with whom ever you find as a transporters.

I haven't been to that side, otherwise would have recommended.

I went there this time last year. It was snowing in murree mall road and ayubia. The hotel we stayed at was very good but expensive(suite 13,000 pkr). The name was Move-n-Pick.

try to look for a hotel on the side places and not on main boulevard. We rented a hotel which was located in the middle of mall, although i managed to get a 'sarkari' place in cantt but friends wanted to stay in 'ronak' hence a suite costed us 8k for the night and it wasn't even weekend, we tried to get that same suite next day but then they were asking 13k for it (because weekend started). I still mock my friends for spending too much on a damn room.

5k rent for 4 bed room Ambassador hotel It was infront of GPO. There was 3K 4 bedroom room also available but it was little far. Approx 10 min walk from GPO on Thandi sark . If you can manage to reach muree on Thursday you will find hotel cheaper as compare to weekends. No snowfall unfortunately in Muree. Just came back from there. Nathia gali was snow falling and the temps were in -10-15 there. It might get colder from now onwards.

Yeah i am also advised by someone to get on boulevard. What can be expected price?

I just came back on 25th Dec. You can visit Nathiagali for snowfall. There was enough snowfall there. You 5 people will easily adjust in 4 bedroom. They also have couch and can provide extra mattress if wanted.

Mushpuri top is beautiful place. I have visited during summer. Greenery was awesome. Bought a guest house. I am talking about 4-5 years ago.

Visited hotels on mall road prices were like 3000-10000 rs. We picked the 7000 wala for 3 days. It was sunday,mon, tue, and wed 12 PM. We negotiated and finalized at 5500. 24 hours warem water with wifi(doesn't matter, we had our packages on!). It was right on the mall road. Whether was dry with cold breezr not so cold till the snowfall hit on Wed morning with teeth-flicking breeze on Mall Road. My hotel was majestic hotel right opposite to usmania restaurant. Condition of room was good too with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. We enjoyed the second last day when we went ayubia because it was on elevation so the snowfall was started from there that day and on chairlift it was so soul-soothing. We enjoyed there in Ayubia because it was not dry as murree the next day.
If you're planning to visit there. Make sure to pack up your toe nails and your hand nails along with your ear (my experience).

Go there and decide. Don't reserve. They might offer u higher rate

I'll suggest you to carry a private car from bus terminal in Murree for Ayubia nathia gali so you can make them stop anytime you see a beautiful scene for snaps.

Also make sure to rent hotel which is on mall road not on bus terminal or lower bazar, you'll end up thinking for like 100 times before elevating towards mall road, it will seriously make your breathe ... :S
