Assalam o Alaikum!

Bros..I'm using HP ZR2240w 21.5" IPS 1080P & Dell ST2320L 23" TN 1080P in dual monitor setup.

I'm thinking to sell them both and get a single monitor because I've kinda lost the purpose of using two monitors and now I want to use a good single monitor..

I've removed Dell monitor from my system because HP ZR2240w has IPS panel and color quality etc was way better than Dell ST2320L..

I'm very happy with the HP monitor because colors are really good and the panel is IPS which is also good.

Business Network (Seller in Gulshan-e-Iqbal) is selling this monitor for 15k "Monoprice GS27Q 27-inch TN (2560x1440)"

Screensize is pretty good and 1440p also sounds very nice..

Now my concern is that I've never heard of Monoprice brand, I've always kept Samsung or Dell monitors and never had any problem of dead pixels etc
also I've 1060 3GB and It runs Battlefield V on 1080p Ultra settings at 45-60fps.

So is this a good move to upgrade from 21.5" 1080p to 27" 1440p with this card ?

Because from my past experience monitor's display only look good on native resolution otherwise they appear blurry and I wouldn't want that and I will play games at 1440p even If i have to lower the graphics quality.

What are your suggestion guys ?

It will support the current titles easily though you'll only be able to only achieve something close to 30-35 fps mark with some heavy titles.
If money is not an issue then upgrade your card to a 1070 8gb model.

ASUS VZ279H 27" 1080p or Monoprice 27" 1440p which one is better for my rig ?
1060 3gb + i5 3470 + 8GB 1333
Get the asus one hands down. Not only because asus have a history of manufacturing good & reliable display panels, but also because all the various reviews out there gave it a solid score. Whereas the amazon link where the monoprice model was being sold had various buyers having issues with its reliability. So yeah go for the asus model.

I forgot to mention one thing that Monoprice 27" TN 75hz 1440p cost is 15k and Asus 27" 1080p 60hz IPS Cost is 22k so there is 7k difference as well.

Specs might look good on paper but I still advise against buying the monoprice. Then there is one other thing TN panels poor colors and have poor viewing angles as compared to IPS panels. Unless the dealer is offering a 1 year monoprice, it's not worth it.
Why not just get a used 1440p monitor from a reputed seller from here.

I'm not concerned about 1440p to be honest because I have 1060 3gb version and it's good as long as resolution is 1080p.
If both monitors price were 15k..I would have purchased Asus Monitor without a second thought..It's just this 7k difference that is bothering me.

If I were to get Asus, dell or samsung 27" 1080p monitor in 15k. I wouldn't even consider Monoprice.

If you don't need 1440p, then HP ZR is already a great monitor, why do you want to switch? If you want to increase screen size you can get 24inch ZR2440w for 7-8K

I've checked HP ZR2440w Specs..This is exactly what I am looking for because ZR2240w screensize was smaller than my ST2320L monitor 23" to 21.5" and there is no audio input/output jack so it is causing me problem connecting speakers to ps4.

Thanks for the advise bro, lastly where I can purchase ZR2440w for 7k ? Should I go to saddar market ? give suggestion please.

I live in ISB. I purchased it from blue area (2nd hand for 8K). But I think Karachi Saddar will have far more stock than Islamabad. Try olx as well.

what do you think about this monitor ?
"ASUS VG248QE 24-inch Widescreen 144Hz 1ms Gaming Display" ?
for 24k price ?
worth the 16k difference from HP ZR2440w 24" IPS 1080p 60hz ?
