in case of an international trip, passport number can be used to register one free phone per person per year, is this valid for 3 months after the trip? like I'll be back to Pakistan from Turkey on 3rd November, so i can register one phone for free for next 3 months bought from any country? phones here in Turkey are very expensive so I'll get one from US, just want to know if I can register it for free during 3 months time.

You can't register any phones for free anymore.

Duty applies on all phones.

if duty still applies, how much duty would it be?

it's available for 549 now instead of 699 which becomes 85k

Just presented for approval. Nothing solid yet.

Duty would be 200 USD, that's a fixed amount for phones valued over 500 USD.

No idea when or if it will get approved, unless PTA comes up with a secure method to ensure people don't abuse the system like they did last time.

Yes, 31k PKR = 200 USD for all flagship phones above 500 USD.

I believe 116k is still less than the price of a brand new OnePlus 7 Pro in Pakistan.
