Congrats on your purchase man. In its price range surely its a better buy than MAMBA.
I read somewhere that the price fixed for this one is $100. But you are saying that you got this one for $70.

yeh i bought it for 70 dollars...the 100 dollars you saw is the MSRP, which is the manufacturers suggested retail price....that doesn't necessarily mean its sold for that much....chek out amazon.com and youll see it for abt 73 dollars...

my cousin bought this mouse... it sux tbh.... any real gamer knows... no no to wireless( i.e if you play hardcore games like c.s and not eyecandy new games).... you want a real mouse.... ain't anything better than razer deathadder....

bro, previous generation wireless mice werent good for gaming....if u read reviews on this mouse or the mamba, youll realize that theres no lag wutsoever while using it wirelessly...AND it can be used with a wire jus like a conventional mouse, and trust me i am a hardcore gamer, and this mouse is awesome....i dunno why ur cousin thinks it sucks... also the razer deathadder is an optical mouse (old technology) which only has up to 1800dpi, and it doesnt have adjustable feet like the x8...and these do make a difference, only a hardcore gamer would be able to tell the difference between the feet, and trust me they do make a difference....and lastly, its up to ur personal taste to wut u prefer, and thats mainly because everyone's hands are different, so some people prefer the design of the razer mice and some prefer the design of sidewinder mice...for me, its sidewinder

bro the thing is that it is new gen. mouse... but it is still wilreless... it will never perform as good as a wire mouse... check esreality scores and similar comparison... it will show you that deathadder is one of the best trackers on a mousepad... you won't even find you mouse there...and it is 3g infra and not optical... the only good expensive mouse that you could buy is steel series ikari... none else.... and deathadder comes with great feature of turning off correction(that is what makes you draw a straight line... although you shouldn't as your hand is not that stable... try it on ms paint of something)... and i didn't just say that my cousin bought it... i used it too.... no fps game will check a mouse better than c.s ... all is revealed in that game when you are checking perfomance.... it is all about quickness and precision....

the thing is higher dpi doesn't mean better performance... never ever go for high dpi crap... you don't need that... what you need to look in a mouse are a few things

1. comfort of girp(really important.. cuz if you can't grip it then don't buy it plz)
2. the highest speed it can acheive without skipping(that is the most improtant thing... maybe the only important thing).
3. can it perform at 1000hz(that is really crucial.. as the higher the hz the more accurate... default windows in 125hz...yuk)
4. the dpi( i have to tell you though even 400dpi can serve your needs... a deathadder or a mx518... have 1800dpi max and that should be more than good enough... ikari is a mouse that follows something else like cpi.... and that mouse maybe is an even better tracker than a deathadder)
5. does it have correction or not...(in my experince of 8 years in c.s .... that you need correction off if you want to be super accurate...)
you have to know that it is all about tracking ability... and trust me when i say... a wireless, no matter ho good, can only dream of tracking half as good cuz it will skip at like half the speed a wire mouse can generate...

thanks for the info, its very informative....and i do agree with some points on it......however, i dont play c.s., but i do play cod4 multiplayer, and i've used multiple mice in this game....and honestly while playing ive had the razer lachesis skip on me, as well as other mice, razer and ikari included...i havent used the deathadder so i cant comment on that....and as far as the x8 is concerned i havent experienced any skipping whatsoever while playing, wired or wirelessly....and if it doesnt skip than in my opinion theres no issue....and secondly the x8 fits in my hand ten times better than any razer mouse has...so ultimately it does come down to what mouse ur comfortable with in ur hand....
