MegaloBox - New boxing anime which is Awesome

A brand new Boxing anime is airing which celebrates the 50th anniversary of "Ashita no Joe" (a very old boxing anime) The anime focuses a young man fighting in underground rings in order to earn money.
The main element is that boxing has been enhanced by nanotechnology, using a thing like exoskeleton allowing them to throw deadly punches at an even greater speed.


Watched a few scenes from the released episodes and trailers and overall looked pretty good. This won't be coming close to Hajime no Ippo but still I think it's gonna be worth watching.

Do comment here if anybody has started watching. As for me I'll wait till all episodes have been aired.

i will certainly pick it up but for now m really confused abt it if its gng to b good or not.. so for now watching all the sequals of old animes till then this wll have proper episodes and results.

I saw a couple of videos on FB of this anime. And have to say disappointed.

The fighting is too boring comparing to that of Hajime no Ippo. Punches feel lightweight like paper, no wind effect to make it seem like there is a lot of force behind the punches. Didn't quite caught my attention :s

i really hope it doesn't have Ending similar to Ashita No Joe. Also Ashita No Joe inspired Hajime No Ippo and Megalo Box is Ashita No Joe technically because they are comemorating Ashita No Joe 50th anniversary.
