Salaam,
To whomever viewing this, I'm here to ask for recommendations for my first ever pc build. So far I've managed to gather following parts:
1. Ryzen 3600x
2. Sapphire Pulse 5600 xt
3. MSI b450 Pro Max (I guess)
4. G.skill 16Gigs@3600mhz
5. WD 500GB SSD

These are the components, I've managed to gather .And now i require some recommendations for how much wattage do I need for this system. And also I'd like a decent recommendation for a chassis.I'm almost at the brink of my savings and I've got 18k spare to buy PSU and a casing. Please recommend me a case with decent airflow and temps :
Thanks

I would recommend at least 750 to 850 Watts.
Case should have a good air flow from Front to back & also from upside....!
i have both if you want..!

Don't believe what he says, you really REALLY don't need more than 600 watts. As for your GPU, I would suggest that you wait since both next gen AMD rdna2 or Nvidia Ampere are about to hit the shelves soon. Rest the build is good.

I would advise not spending more than 7k on a new casing. The money you save could go elsewhere like gaming mice, headphones, keyboards and controllers.

Hi, thank you for confirming my suspicion about the comment above yours. He doesnt know crap about PC's I guess. I was actually going for a 500W PSU after calculating my load on some PSU calculators. As for the new RDNA2 GPU's, 6700 or 6600Xt will come out probably next year. So, I think 5600Xt is a good choice until then.
One more thing, if you dont mind me asking is the choice between choosing a 1080p@144Hz or 1440p@60Hz monitor. I have never owned one so you might have a better idea about that, I care about eye-candy a lot. I dont play fps games, just League and some RPG's like witcher 3 .
Kindly help me out in this one too :)

Bro, budget is the issue here, otherwise 1440p@144Hz is the dream resolution. I got about 50k to spend on Monitor and that too is saying something. So 1080p@144Hz or 1440p@60Hz is what I can afford atm.

Get a 1440p 75hz freesync or a 60hz even. No point in getting higher hz monitor when you will be going for the mid end GPUs.

If you want a good PSU, I have a tried and tested in stock.
I might be able to hook you up with a good deal. 600W MWE Gold.

To be honest im leaning towards this:
One of my personal favourites.
The color output it has is wunderbar.

+1 from me.
