Hey HAZY. Seeing that you require a decent LED / LCD for both gaming and movies, I'd suggest that you go with a display which is Full HD (1920x1080). From your list #1 seems like the better option among the 3 mainly because it packs a punch using its Full HD 24" panel. Also, my friend has had a really good experience in using products manufactures by ASUS. So put your faith in your decision and go play those games you've always wanted to! :)

Cheers mate.

Hey Bro thats really encouraging thanks. ever since I started yearning for a good display, I always had my eyes on Asus Led.
But after studying about the LEDS. I've come to the conclusion that I'm gonna go for the ASUS VS248H indeed the first outta 3 which have been my favorite since the begining.
The only thing that was bothering me, The color shifting, after some really knowledgeable person educated me of IPS,TN Panel types.
so since I'm also a avid movie watcher, I really got worried bout the moniter giving me issue of color shifting or tonal contrast disorder if viewed from right or left. But as soon as I learned bout Smart view technology given by asus, And to my surprise, I learned I didn't have to worry bout TN OR IPS PANEL type, CUZ THE LED THAT I WANNA GO FOR IS NOT *TN TYPE ITS IPS TYPE* lol. That Knowledgeable guy assumed that VS248h moniter is TN cuz it had blazing fast response time which is not the case with IPS Panel. So i had to buy his words after the research but when i Stuided the moniter itself like key features and stuff throughout. I came to know the LED isn't TN its IPS and thats what I badly wished for.
Think I'm going for The moniter that has been apple of my eye. But still I'd request my Good fellows to suggest me if theres something else I'd wanna check out or would wanna keep in the mind.
I'm really so open to suggestions. Because I'm not investing in a good display very soon again.

Hey HAZY. Guess what? Do you know about the Sony PlayStation Display? Yes, the one which everyone said "its crap" "its dead on arrival" "it won't work! Sony sucks" and all that stuff. But I bought that display. I kept all of the bad things aside and bought what pleases my eye. Thanks to Allah, I didn't face any single issue which most of the people who owned one of these displays complained about. Mainly because I believed in it. And no matter what, a person will always be happy with something his heart is happy with. So after taking all the reviews from professional and experienced people out there, look back at this post and ask yourself, "does it all matter? What if it all turns right for me?" Living in Pakistan is a risk. So I say that why not take a risk with a small thing and be happy with it rather than regretting and keep on asking yourself that why didn't I go for it. I'm just a new guy on PG so I really dont know how stuff works around here but one thing I know for sure is that, always follow your heart. And hold on, I'm gonna go and research on that LED of yours. Brb. :)

Try shingpoint at techno city of your karachi based.
Things you should be more concerned should be Full HD, low response time , HDMi and maybe speakers would be a benefit since your playing a ps4 on it.

If if you want to go with a used LED, you will easily get a 27inch Full HD in 20k at techno city. There's this huge used LCD shop there at the ground floor

the asus vs248h is a TN panel, not IPS. Led technology can be both TN and IPS.

While yes the general consensus is that TN panels response time is faster, how much of it would you notice really? A lot of marketing tricks go into saying faster. I have and continue to game on various IPS panels, no issues with response time.

After going IPS, i will not go back to TN as I do watch a lot of videos too. You need to decide what you want.
