Learning German

I am going to start the long and exciting process of learning German for the sake of studying. Within a year, I aim to get to at least B2 level (B1 is the bare minimum in any case). I will be seeking the services of the Goethe Institute and the likes. Does anyone have any experience and therefore any advice to give (particularly for someone in Lahore)? Even experience from having learned other languages is very useful. What techniques, institutes, methods of study, sorts of work ethic, resources and so on should I be aware of.

There's a Michel Thomas method of learning languages. You can search for the torrent. I've used it personally & seems to me the easiest way to learn a new language. You should also try duolingo(ios & android).

MOst importatn thing is keep talking with any one who can speak german lang its the key ... you may learn it in six months as well. ( i dont have any experience on German ) i learned French for some time ) and as per my interest and keeness i understood that it wont take me long to learn .. so i wish the same for you.
