Anyone here learned french? Any tips plz? and is alliance francaise good?

Yes it is so far the best option in Karachi for learning casual french.

I suggest you go take their test (if you have some prior french knowledge) or enroll in one of theor 101 classes and do atleast two modules there.

After that you can easily watch lessons on youtube or better still start watching their movies!

hmm thanks bro. I've no prior knowledge of french, i did install the Rosetta Stone Level-1 but couldn't complete it. Maybe I'll join AF beginners class, just to have some basic knowledge.

I've Rosetta Stone but I feel that you need to have the basics, a kick-start...which I think you can achieve by taking classes. I'm planning to take admission in AF and once I know the basics, then I'll learn it myself through Rosetta and the other stuff that I've.

i'd recently learn some of the basic french by my senior teacher, he teaches french & english, but dont know specific centr, bcoz i've never asked that to my teacher (w),

Now here the thing which i'd learn from my Sir,ist not enough , but enough for a bigner like me

Q.) Comment vous-appelez- vous ? ( it means, what is your name ? ) also it pronounce it like this
( Comma vu zapley vu) the (t) is silent also vous (s) connects with appelez which sound like zapley also mention in
the pronounciation

Q.)Comment alley-vous ? ( it means How are you ?), but i think french is kinda pakao (pacman):|

i mean it sound impressive to learn french , but when the time you'll learn it, believe me you'll feel nausea after that :blah:lol:

Maaan there was a French and German course being offered in our University (by Humanities dept.). I should have taken it. It was by Alliance I think, for half the price of their usual courses. I heard its quite good.
