Latency on my Xbox series s remains 160 to 270ms

The latency on my series s tops 150 to 270ms.

I've also checked the advanced settings on the series s, and it remains 150ms.

I've also connected the ethernet cable, but it didn't even make a small dent in the latency.

However, I've checked the latency on xbox Live Servers using my laptop, and the maximum latency stand at 40ms on my laptop, but it remains 160ms when checked using xbox series s.

I've added the ports, enabled DMZ and disabled all firewalls but nothing seems to work.

Tough luck. There's nothing much you can do here, the latency, even the systemwide was always subpar on Xbox Series as compared to a mid low end PC. I sold mine a few months ago, shifted full time to PC/steamdeck gaming. Mine was also wired, never used wi-fi.
