Laptop Water Cooling !!!!!!

A little preview of the next mod I'm doing because I'm a professional modder
So this one is way before I got my hands on it

This is after when I thought the mod was done

And then this is way after when the mod was actually done

This is a CFM for maximum airflow so it is noisy BUT it pushes a lot of air.
I will post a video in future for reference

It was a gread DIY but there is a very major flaw visible from the images.

1. You got additional copper plate welded to the copper pipe to cover the chips (which were originally air cooled). But the water/air path you made does not dissipate the heat from the chips via air/liquid convection since no air or water passes over the additional copper plate. Infact the air flow was now blocked due the the undesigned addition therefore the chips got fried.

2. I hope you also put thermal stickers between the chips and the copper plate.

3. Try with a smaller dia pipe in multiple U-bends over the plate. That way more heat will be dissipated and the water cooling will work more effectively..

4. A word to the wise: Design on paper before manufacturing .. and troubleshoot before going out to buy new stuff.... otherwise a lot of money and more important time is wasted for no good output. (And yes, im a professional design engineer so i know what im talking about )

I thought that there was a flaw in design BUT I'm a professional modder I made no mistakes the thing is the motherboard chip/controller chip as the repairing staff calls it, got fried way before I modded it. That's why I was doing this mod but when the mod was done because I'm a professional modder and I made no mistakes nonetheless it got worse because I was using a faulty RAM the repairing staff discovered it after I posted that status report where I went like, OH MY GOD I'M NEVER GONNA RECOVER THIS BOARD*sob *sob ... or something along those lines
