Laptop Water Cooling !!!!!!

YES! You heard right suckers ... I'm going to watercool my laptop. All of you who use HP knows they tend to get really hot after heavy usage like gaming, rendering and so on. So I had enough of that b.s. and started to take matters in my own hands. First I disassembled my HP pavilion G6-1065se, ripped apart the heatsink which was like this at first (sorry about image quality)

And made it into the beautiful and mesmerizing thing that it is now

As you can see in the previous picture that there was no heatsink attachment to the motherboard chip hence it could not perform to its full potential.
All I did was take it to my local welder and told him that he shouldn't clog the copper pipe and attach the additional copper pipe to it.
Processor can be cooled passively by air or actively by water it's a win-win.
Mean while I'm still waiting on a 360 radiator.

Still waiting on a rad .... but I have tested it for leaks and it runs just fine .... last time I checked temps were 40-45°C on idle and 85-90°C on load, now I'm going to check after water cooling it to see if it makes a difference

Really sorry for the wait but I came bearing good news ... laptop works after all

And I don't know how but I crammed that heatsink in there

While I did mess up the cover while drilling but I'm perfectly fine with the result

In the meantime I invested in buying some fans what I bought was 10 (120mm), 6 (140mm), 3 (140mm CFM)

This cost me pretty much my soul but I still wanted to buy a rad so I came up with an idea that I would an evaporator of a mini fridge

As it turns out it helped me out a lot it does not restrict flow and it costs only Rs.400 and it helped me maintain 20°C on processor and dedicated graphics chip.
All that's remaining is pump, while water cooling pumps cost a fortune so I bought an aquarium pump pushes 1000L/hr, throws water up to 1.5m and is dead silent ... bought it for Rs.1800 only

Keep waiting more information of the setup is due next week. :wink:

So I was building this box BY MYSELF, professional modder (check), to hold all the equipment for water cooling as it turns out cutting wood is a Abuses will lead to ban so here are some pictures

Ok guys the reason I wasn't updating the thread was that I didn't pay enough attention to the flaws there were in the fricking heatsink that my mobo chip got really hot cuz I wasn't water cooling it then it was just air cooled and it wasn't sufficient. Firstly my hard disk wasn't getting detected, I thought that my hard disk was failing so I bought a new one, didn't fix the problem. After that my laptop wasn't giving any display so I thought fuck now my display isn't working, silly me I bought a new display yes I did =D connecting the new display wasn't fixing any problems. So I didn't wanted my laptop repaired one day I took it with me "JUST BECAUSE" I was going to saddar, took it to a repairing shop and then he looked at for like an hour, then he tested it for like two more hours and then he said and I quote," ye jo ap ne is k heatsink k sath kia hai na us ne is ki baji ko **** dia hai ab is ki mobo ki chip ki reballing ho gi aur agar us se kaam na bana to naya motherboard lena parey ga". Now my dad is gonna tell me I told you so but don't worry I will finish what I started in the first place but it will take more time

Oh its being recovered I have invested a lot of time and work into this and of course A LOT OF MONEY and everybody on my behalf is waiting for the end result ... today I have to check my motherboard I'll inform you on further details

Well then people I'm of to buy a new motherboard and heatsink of of course then I will mod it again myself cuz I'm a professional modder, I bet you guys already knew that, it will arrive at a week from now so WAIT there is no need to rush wait a week then I'mma finish this up good.
