I am looking to buy a laptop in March. I will be using it for Graphics and Motion Graphics and Video Editing so multi tasking, colors and processing are main concerns here. I need a reliable and good looking laptop. I have been using Sony Vaio laptop from years but it's not very suitable for Video Editing and Multi tasking so need to upgrade.

I am not sure about the budget. Give me couple of ideas so i can make my mind or can research more on the topic. Thanks in advance. =)

Salam!I want to buy a laptop. Budget is around 80k. Laptop must be lightweight (around 1.8kg or less). 1080p display, core i3/i5/i7. Preferably 7th/8th gen. Dedicated GPU is a plus. I've already seen galaxy and czone websites. Didn't find any suitable one. I can also import from USA but it would cost me around 10k for it. So my laptop budget then would be 70k (plus 10k for import).Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

Check this one out , probably the best bang for the buck gaming laptop out there
After import, tax etc will cost you 80k
But keep in mind the screen isn't so good

Hello everyone. I was looking for a gaming laptop. I tried to find it on olx.com.pk, czone.com.pk and on daraz.pk but couldn't find one which fits my needs. So I want you guys to help me out please. This is what I'm looking for:

Processor: Intel Core i7 4th generation

Display: The display should not exceed from 720p

GPU: koi sa bhi chalega. Khair hai.

RAM: 1 stick of 8 GB 1866MHz ( Upgradeable to 16 GB )

HDD: 500 GB 7200RPM ( Upgradeable to 1 TB )

Any help or any link will be appreciated. Thanks PG for making such an excellent platform for us.

I dont think i need to start a new thread for gaming laptop buying guide.
So i am raising my questions here. I hope i will get all the help from here.

I am using Lenovo laptop with Gtx960m. Its good with battery and all around in working & sound quality is just great but the Gpu is lagging behind now in latest games.
Its restricted to High/medium settings while i want Ultra/high so I am looking for an upgrade to Gtx1060.

Now my questions are:

1stly How much money is needed on the minimum to get that and from where. I have googled and it says 150,000 is needed. So kindly give me options for laptops and where to get them.

2ndly For how much i can sell my current laptop. Lenovo Ideapad Y700 6th Gen Ci7 QuadCore 8GB RAM 1 TB HDD 04 GB Nvidia GTX 960m Dedicated Graphic Card 15.6" 1080p Touchscreen

Lastly Is it better to buy now in 1-2 months or wait for the end of the year for better deals or something.

I went through the same thing, in Pakistan you can get acer helios in 150k on homeshopping.pk but im not sure about warrant.. on Czone you can get lenovo Y720 in 155k with intl warranty + 7k for local warranty.

I sold my Acer Nitro with gtx 960M in 2K AED (62K PKR) so you should be able to sell yours around the same.

coz i am watching reviews of both helios and y720. Both screens are dimmer than expected.
And check the link whats meant with the certified refurbished thing? The deal looks great with the HD and SSD combo.

this seems like a very good deal . even for me if hadnt bought Dell just now, however they havent mentioned the device status is it brand new, open box or refurb. but for the price hardware is good. downside being no SSD upside being 17''LED screen

Hey guys I'm looking for laptop, in which I can atleast play gears of war and do graphic designing.

I have my eyes on the new Acer predators Helios 300 with i7 8th gen and 144hz display, gtx 1060. However, I've seen lot of people saying that it overheats quickly. Causing lag.

My budget is 170,000 and I can't find anything good in this range. I'm ordering from my uncle through Amazon. Although it's for $1200 . The total cost is 170,000 . Any better alternative?

Back after a few years and still this thread has not been updated.

Actually i was looking again for the laptop buying guide as before. So i hope people will help here and i am not starting a new thread may be later.

I have Asus GL702VM with GTX 1060 17.3" 75Hz GSync screen and all but I am planning to upgarde.

So if you can help me with some questions ?


1. How much i can sell this laptop for ?

2. What are my options to go for ? 1660Ti or RTX 2060/2070 ?

3. How much extra money I should have ?

Kindly give me suggestions with laptop options and prices and how to get them.

Really appreciate any help.
