Currently replaying gta vice city with some mods that makes it a bit modern both controls and graphics wise. Enjoying my time more so than I did playing GTA V story mode. These 3d era GTAs definitely need some remaster loving

Omg John said the PS2 version looks more 'natural' than the Switch version cause of the AO.

That's not something I expected to hear in 2021 lol

Pretty sure they won't be awarding a non-indie game in the presence of a 90+ (or close to it) indie game 🤷‍♂️
If that was true, Inside would've been the GoTY in 2016. So, your reasoning is still not making sense 🤷‍♂️

Also, why limit the argument to "last 3 years"?
    The trend started recently 🤷‍♂️

Has a non-indie game won anything from them in the last 3 years. It Takes Two will take (pun intended) it this year 🤣
That doesn't mean they were suddenly "more interested" in awarding an indie game. It just happened to be better than the competition

So we can say they are "more interested" in awarding AAA games when an indie doesn't win. Works both ways 🤷‍♂️

I mean, I'd have to have played it to understand where journalists were coming from 🤷‍♂️
To understand the journalists, how about you read what they wrote instead?

Not as many great set-pieces probably. Game journalists love those "wow" moments lol

Not really as cinematic as the 90+ games perhaps? I haven't played it. Looked fun in the gameplay department tho 🤷‍♂️

It's pretty clear these 'Oscars' are more interested in awarding indie games lol

Untitled Goooose game ran away with Sekiro/RE2 (still don't know which one got the Meta-certified win 🤔) Oscars 🤣
I'm guessing if the result was according to your satisfaction you would've told us. All sources are public, ya know :ROFLMAO:

Ah yes, GoW scored high because of its cinematic nature, but let me guess, that doesn't apply to TLOU 1/2, right?
