KOF starter budget hardware suggestions

Hi Guys, I used to play KOF back in my college days in 2000-2002, Now after seeing this tread I was thinking to start playing my old passion. So guys please do suggest me your recommended budget hardware, I will love to have one to one challenges. My questions are.

1. should i purchase some old xbox or i can do it on my android phone or pc?
2. what type of gamestick is recommended?
3. What software /roms do I need to have.

I have tried PC emulators with chinese gamepads but playing on that is very annoying, combos are very very difficult to execute. and game speed is not so good.

Use fightcade, which uses the best emulator on the market for mame emulation and it also has online ggpo functionality in reference to your other questions I just use a keyboard when playing on PC, its basically a cheap AF HitBox.

Hardware for KOF 98? Dude I don't know about modern PCs, but my ancient machine plays it like a charm.

bro search for NeoRAGEx 5.0 on torrents webistes with KOF series roms, i have it my pc it works flawlessly!

i also have a joystick like the one's used in Arcade machines, it's not that good but still it gets the job done.
