IPhone - What to check while getting a used one?

I am new on PG and this is my first thread.
As showed by the title I am going to buy a used iPhone 5s from market. But I am very suspicious what to check whether it is packed or not and is it refurbished.
ICloud and Locking issues.
Please help.

Walaikum Assalam. If you dont know what to check buy it from PG's Trusted Members As cerberus said.
You can check the Market Place Section and under the picture there will be the pg trading score. I have personally bought a phone from PG's premium seller @hzk17 and it is great.
otherwise you can go to market with a guy who knows about Phones

there's a shortage of iPhones ! serious shortage 5s are not available only 6 and 6 plus if you visit the local market be carefull . first of all check the housing of the iphone match both the imei's the one inside and the one on its back ! witten right below iphone and what not lol.
5s are available but in really bad conditions .
