Facebook and whatsapp both are eating up my iphone 6 battery running IOS 9.0.1. Ever since I purchased this new iPhone the battery was comparatively to iphone 5s was quite satisfying and it was working perfectly fine until few days ago I noticed my iPhone battery was draining fast. So I then I found these two culprits. I even turned off background app refresh in the hope of fixing this issue but no avail. Does anyone here got any solution to this?

Tap the clock icon which is on right to the last 7 days tab. It will then show the details of screen and background task detail for each app like this.

Btw this is 5s on 9.0 and my battery lasts a day easily with wifi only off when I am sleeping

I remember last night before going to sleep at around 11:40pm I checked my phone's battery and it was 75% but today when I woke up at 10am the battery was at 17%. It wasn't like that before. Now I am restoring my iPhone through iTunes and lets see how it goes.

Here is the last 7 days battery usage status and fb is still on top

I would suggest to just turn off background activity and see for a day or two before restoring

My device is jailbroken so i use CCSettings to
Kill the back ground apps when ever i can.
Otherwise if not jailbroken kill apps but using home button, double tap & flicked away.

for me it happens when its third or fourth notification from same person of group but i guess thats the normal behaviour

[MENTION=19650]LordAmmar[/MENTION] This same thing is also happening with me since the day I updated to IOS 9. I usually miss first notification sound of Facebook and whatsapp.

Yeah same here. It's annoying. Have you tried any remedies? It happened on my iPhone 6 and it's happening on my 6S as well.

WTH is wrong with icloud backup? I haven't been able to successfully backup my iphone 6 on icloud since this IOS 9 released. I even tried signing out from icloud but still no use. Are you guys also facing this icloud problem. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

my iMessage was working fine, i had to swap a sim for a bit and when i popped my sim back my iMessage stopped working
it stuck on waiting for activation

also my number doesnt appear in send & recieve list however i can see my number fine under setting->phone->my number so if i select email as under send & recieve i can sent iMessage from email address while i can still see "waiting for activation" message

tried all solutions, even did a factory restore and tried without restoring back but number doesnt come under send & recieve list

Opinions, solutions?

It was fine, same as on iOS 8 for me on 5s

improved on 9.1
