What en emotional send off so sad to see him leave under such circumstances excatly 15 years after the day he won us the 1992 semi-final he served pakistan well for 15 years deserved a better end.

dont get me wrong , i love inzamam. he was an amazing player and alongside waqar younis , my favorite player ever (never really liked wasim much).

but he failed us in west indies.

if inzi hadnt scored the extra runs some one else might have.. pakistan did win the final by 22 or so runs..

and yes its pretty damn true that imran's captaincy is what won us the world cup, im pretty sure your aware of his tiger T shirt story during the semi final stage which is actually what boosted up the pakistani team moral.

Imran is given proper credit because i firmly believe no other captain would have been able to lead the team to victory.
