Line is much stable SNR bumped from 6.5 to 25.0. Line is crystal Clear. VDSL still not installed been 5 days since the order.
my IP link is changed after the upgrade. Now connected to 182 pool (previously it was 39.53.xxx.xxx or 39.45 ) so pings are much better on this pool

Im getting really high pings om dubai servers now. On ADSL I got like 60 - 70 ping on battlefield 1, but now I get like 200. How can I fix this ?

yes low speed issue is fixed, working perfectly now and there is no slow browsing issue. browsing is really fast

Our results are as follows in very close proximity. Using PTCL VDSL 50 Mbps. Just curious, if something goes wrong do you call the helpline, call Aaamir / Akbar or call Iqbal / Shabir?

Thanks for the advice dude. Are the pings and disconnectivity problems any better in GPON and is it worth going for it when its available ? And I live in sector A and there is a MSAG here near my house but I don't think its functional right now because I ordered a VDSL connection through 1218 but I wasn't contacted by anyone in the exchange.

i mostly contact Akbar, sometimes Abubakar (DSL incharage) and if things go really bad then Shiraz sahab (buisness manager bahria exchange). Helpline is useless and takes ages

Hi, I'd really appreciate if you or any one else can help me in some way. I ordered a ptcl triple play connection back in may of 2017 and till to this day I haven't got the connection. The reason is that the connection is not feasible for my house according to the people at the exchange including abu bakar and the line man abid gill. I live in cc block by the way. Now the thing is that most of the houses have the ptcl connection and a few I know for a fact got the connection after my requests were rejected multiple times for the non feasibility reason.
It has been almost 2 years. I tried ordering online so that the exchange may be forced to provide the service but to no effect. I have been been visiting the exchange myself for about 2 years and their response is still the same. The line man only visited the first time back in 2017 and after that, every time place an order no line man pays the visit and I receive the email of apology from ptcl.
I have filed the complaints on 1218 against the exchange that they don't do any thing to make service available and that too has been a disappointment.
I have been forced to use the wireless broadbands like zong and others but that is way too expansive for family use.
So I guess after my rant you people can imagine my frustration now. If any one can help me out or suggest what to do or had similar experience please do let me know I would deeply appreciate it.

did you visit them recently ? because they have upgraded whole Bahria to FTC last month. if they still don't install it then i am messaging u some PTA emails complain to them. or other option is to get internet connection from bahria office. they provide LAN/Fibre connections. their bandwidth is from cybernet so pings should be similar to stormfibre

in the main Bahria office Al Fallah building where building dpt or other services are. if i am not wrong Bahria is providing that service. i asked local cable wala for the rates but he told me to visit bahria office for that

Yeah so had a long conversation/argument at the ptcl exchange. Outcome? A plain and blatant refusal. Again for the same reason.
There is no db (distribution box) in my street and only one ptcl user in my street who also apparently happens to b ptcl employ that why he has a connection. So due to no demand from enough people they won't install a db for my street. The guy at the exchange openly said if you want to go to pcc or pta then go right ahead it won't affect them because according to him they have requested for the network expansion in cc block but because of low demand in my area(at the end of shabbir shahid avenue near mcdonald bahria) the company doesn't approve it.
So I guess next I'm gonna try cable wala's internet. They've got the storm fiber isp the technician told me but the distribution is through rj45 cat.6 LAN cable. It's also way expensive than ptcl
1300 for 2 mbps
2500 for 4 mbps
3500 for 6 mbps
Max bandwidth offered is 10mbps.
