@OP, you can't force what you like upon her. Relations are often fragile. Don't impose your rules. Most of the times it is hard for smokers to quit because of their company. She will eventually quit after the realization that it is injurious to health given she is in the right company.

bhai usually student smoke with a lot of trouble they dont want others to know ,so when they smoke one they have to sparay,tulsi other stuff but naswar is easy to keep secret so they start preferring it

I have a friend who has been smoking since 7-8 months.

She smokes 4-5 a day. That's what she told me. Might be 6-7 a day as well. Recently I have been hanging out with her like all the time. Last week she had 2 in front of me and said they were the only ones she smoked for the whole day. Then she said that she won't smoke and promised me and stuff. The next day she asked me for a cigarette again. (I don't smoke btw). I brought her one and I didn't talk to her the whole way while she drove because I was pissed off. The next day same thing happened again and she said that I will reduce it. I can't cut them off at once. Then next day she asked me for cigarette. I went and brought the whole pack for her. I scold her and on our way back, she threw the pack out and said she won't smoke ever again.

Now I don't know if she's smoking or not but what if she asks for cigarette again? How do I detect if she is smoking or not? How do I stop her from smoking?

Stop being a White Knight and grow a pair. It is her choice whether she wishes to smoke or not. She's probably a grown woman and you're neither her boyfriend nor her father. Also since you don't like her smoking, stop being pussywhipped and stop buying her cigarettes. Tell her she can go get them herself if she wants one. Bring up the topic just one time and warn her of the harmful effects of smoking. If she doesn't drop the habit, drop the topic and don't bring it up again.
