how to send money abroad (URGENT)

Asalam o Alaikum !

i have to send money abroad in urgent basis due to someone needs it and I have just now got info from western union office (near my home) that i can't send money if no relative of mine is residing there...

i have HBL bank account and i didn't see any option for sending money abroad....

any further info regarding sending money ? i have to send as soon as possible

Ask the recipient if they have any online payment solution, ie, PayPal, Skrill, MoneyGram etc. If they do, ask someone from PG to send them the cash against which you'll pay them here.

Western Union and Moneygram are damn expensive, you can ask your friend to create a skrill account and you can create one too, charge it with a debit card which works online and send to your friend.

Err did you say western union won't let you send money if a relative is not residing there ? What a load of crap, your local western union is trolling you. I've sent money abroad and received money abroad myself many times through western union and it has nothing to do with your relatives residing there.

I don't send money abroad regularly, the last time I sent it was maybe a year back to USA and no where on the form was it written I can only send to a Pakistani or a relative. If you a still having issues with western union you can definitely do international bank transfer through your bank account, call HBL helpline and ask them how you can do international bank transfer, it will be a little more expensive than Western Union. Your other option is using "Hawala" system, since you are in Karachi just ask around and you will find many trust worthy hawala brokers, if you are not comfortable with that just do international bank transfer.
