How to deal with fraud phone sellers selling hacked approved PTA phones...

So I bought a S9 plus phone from a shop and at that time it was PTA approved and now all of a sudden (after a few months) it is not.

The owner is a huge a**hole acting like the customer who sold him it was at fault but it seems like there is a line full of customers with the same issue from this same shop. I talked to them and they all have the same issue so there is no way the owner isn't at fault.

I found out from other sources that the shop *along with many others* would change IMEI numbers thru some hack to avoid paying PTA and now the system has picked up on their fraud.

The owner is not refunding me and is telling me to pay the PTA cost and is acting all innocent like it isn't his fault. He won't even exchange the phone with another PTA approved one they have *since he knows he has them approved illegally and it could be unapproved at anytime*

Can someone tell me who to contact about this fraud, anyone that can immediately take action against these corrupt sellers?

Anyone know how to contact PTA directly? Does anyone have any good connections?

Try reporting to the police.
This is in no way legal. lol

But I doubt they're gonna do anything... I mean, there's a whole market for stolen phones. :/

How is PTA complaint line? Do they give a crap?

This is extremely unfair to have those that dwell in corruption go scot-free!
