[OT] How to activate 3D functionality of Alienware 17R4 ?

Assalam o Alaikum


I recently got an Alienware 17R4 with 120Hz panel and Gtx 1070, the display settings show that 3D is enabled but when i try to play 3D media in PowerDVD it says that this display
is not supported.


I also have another laptop Dell inspiron 7720 with 120Hz panel and Gtx 650M which is performing 3D functionality perfectly.


Both laptops have same versions of nividia drivers and PowerDVD, also 3D is enabled in display settings of both.


How can I made 3D worki n 17R4. I suspect that might be my 17R4 is missing IR Emitter (which is built in the body of 7720 SE ), but anyhow need suggestions.

Would attaching a separate nividia IR emitter via usb connection would solve the issue ?

Waiting for the feedback anxiously :)

    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
